I'm pretty flexible on the date itself as long as it's after December, so which ever way the group wants to go is fine by me.

actually we are thinking after the chaos of them cause its already gettin kinda crazy... an i don't really get time off in these last couple monthes... so i am with the idea of mid january to late feb anywhere in there i can manage :)

Don't worry too much about the age of the thread. The last time there was a Texas meet that thread was up and running for several months. As it is, I would be happy to meet up even if it was just a couple of us.

I agree, so long as it's after the holidays themselves. Right now things are already too hectic to make plans for anything before the end of the year.

I have been getting ideas from friends around here on place to go... and I was just curious to what type of place do we want to go? theres plenty of places that accomodate groups of 7 or so people.... do you guys want: bar, hookah bar, pub, club, concert, restaurant, coffee shop, or something else? give me an idea of what you guys want to do and we will find a place to accomodate everyone :)
 
I think dinner as a group first would be ideal. From there we can figure out where and what we want to do.

lol well i don't care much what we do as long as we do somethin though if you guys really want to leave it in my hands i will come up with something... just at least say if you guys wanna get dinner or just hang for hours?

if you wanna drive up here thats fine... theres actually a coffe shop / barish place that i was thinkin we could all go to that i think is 18+ though dinner still tryin to find a place for dinnner thats kinda unique.... there is a place that from 6-6:45 has half price sushi/happy hour... i paid for myself and 3 others when i went and it was $40 that was just sushi and sodas

$40 isnt bad for 4 ppl...

Do we have that many people signed up? Honestly, I think we need to nail down a date. Hopefully once the date has been established we will have more guys sign up.
 
woulda posted sooner but been kinda busy... Kyoto's is the name of the place its a sushi bar thats got no age limits but since its in downtown i have never seen children in there... from 6pm -6:45pm they have a happy hour sushi thing where they have a cheap sushi menu. decent size for about $2.00 - $3.75... so we can go eat there then I was thinkin either pub or coffee house... pub = sitting outside and you guys can get beers the none drinkers get sodas or coffee house = a place called spider house they have some beers no major menu but they have a coffee menu which is on par with it... they also have some snacky foods for those who need it they also have music outside and a dj and a few pleasant places to sit...

theres also hookah bars which to my knowledge are 18+ i haven't looked into them majorly but they are a possibility if you guys are wanting it.

those are details that i have so far and can totally work on it some more in january work is just busy and so is bf atm so it keeps me busy so still working also if any other austinites have ideas by all means present them
