It's cool man. I like it. It's a good change from the other shows they have on Nickelodeon, like "Unfabulous" :::barf:::
 
I have season 1 on DVD. That should tell you something. (!)

Now if season 2 would just be available.

I also purchased the video game. Hope that does not make me a looser.... :confused: [-X :D
 
Huge, huge, huge fan of this program. It's one of the best shows on TV, regardless of genre. The fact that it's animated and on a kid's network? Bonus.
 
I love this show too. Wish they'd release a Region 2 DVD. Currently on Book 2 here in the UK, with repeats of Book 1.
 
Guilty pleasure as well. I originally didn't liek it because I thought it was another Western attempt at capturing the mysticism of the East (barf).

But I think it actually made the whole thing its own and I respect that. Since then, I've come to like it. Zuku is so adorable when he's confused. The season finale was itneresting. I was disappointed (not in the show, just by the choices of the characters).

Anyone know if the chracters for each element in the opening are really formal, old Chinese? Because they're not the characters I know, even for traditional Chinese thought hey have traces within them.
 
I absolutely adore the show! From the first episode I saw, I was hooked. It's definately my current favorite.

A lot of people assume that because a series is animated, that it must be immature. Well, I can't express enough how WRONG that assumption is! This show has it's silly moments, it also has it's dramatic moments. It deals with serious issues like loss, war, responsibility towards others above one's own desires. Of course, I can't leave out the amazing plot and intricate world that Avatar portrays.

I'm 18, and this show is anything BUT kiddish. It has elements that can appeal to all age groups (*8*). Alright, I'm done ..| .
 
I love this show, as you might guess from my sig. I've watched it ever since it began and my appreciation for the show has only grown. It is no exageration to say that Avatar:The Last Airbender is one of the greatest cartoons in recent decades. My favorite episode would have to be the Book 1 finale. Although, my favorite moment from the series is from Tales of Ba Sing Se: The Tale of Iroh. When Iroh sang that song at Lu Ten's memorial shrine I broke down in tears. It was that much more moving because this was one of Mako Iwamatsu's last performances.

I LOOOOVE IT!

I always hate when in animes the main guy gets all the action and his friends, specially the girls, never do anything great. Well I don't feel that way about this show!! Every character is important, and when Aang gets all the attention I looove it anyway cuz he's such a cute character. I love the show.
 
Come on! There has to be more Avatar fans on this site.
 
I seem to remember seeing that season 3 starts in Late June/Early July, but I may very well be wrong.
 
I have only seen like 2 episodes of it but maybe I should watch it more :)
I like the girl, I want that whole healy hands thing.
 
I just saw the season finale on youtube and I must say amazing. Katara has really come into her waterbending powers, she did some truely amazing moves. And Zuko, OMG I thought he had finally changed, and I guess he did until his bitch of a sister came into the picture. So sad and scary that Basengsei has fallen, that now means they have conquered almost every kingdom on the planet except the north pole water tribe which is where I guess they are heading with the king. I cant wait for season 3. I must admitt, I thought this was japanese anime because the showed seemed so un-nickalodean like to me, but hey they made it. I must applaud them.

Watching it right now... But in Canada we haven't gotten the chance to see Appa's Lost Days or Lake Leogai yet, unfortunately. Love the show greatly
