i love the show too, i learned that there will be live action movie based on the show, the director is the guy who directed "the village", i cannot remember his name.

I love everything about the series. For once, there is a story to follow; a strong continuity between episodes. The writer's are not afraid to touch some very sensitive issues (death, sacrifice, abuse) in a very real way. The characters are dynamic, and slowly change in both personality and appearance.

I'd hate for anyone to miss out on the series. I suggest looking up a torrent and downloading both seasons when you get the chance (look it up at www.thepiratebay.org or www.isohunt.com).

They can watch it without torrents at tv-links.co.uk i missed the whole second season cause i didnt know it was on and caught up with it in two days.

My favorite is Iroh as well. He is definately one of the best fire benders ever. I bet anything he will be Ang's fire tutor.

This show is hella cool. But Dragonball Z> all other anime and anime wannabes...so yea...
 
I dont know how I feel about Ang with hair... but man, i've been waiting for that season 3 for--what seems to be-- ever!

I love that DVD cover though :)
 
oh wow thank you so much. it looks SO good. damn I am excited. Was Zuko kissing up on that girl who had a crush on him when they were younger? Go Zuko, even though he backstabbed Iro.
 
Yes, the trailer looks amazing. I wonder whats going to happen to Iro now. Is he going to escape and teach Aang to firebend? Is that Toph I saw kicking ass? I miss her.
 
I think Zuko lets him go. In the trailer, you see Zuko putting on a travel cloak and stuff.
 
Love this show but missed the whole recent season with the earth bending girl... sucks

guess i'll have to get it on dvd. but yeah i agree with what someone else said, nick kinda sucked since the days of Are you afraid of the dark, the Good Doug, the older All That... eh sucks but yeah only recent goodness was Invader Zim then that was cut now Avatar is the only reason i watch it at all

I think that guy is a previous Avatar... maybe a memory from teh past, cuss only the Avatar can manipulate all 4 elements right? And supposedly all the Avatars are gone exept Aang. But that was an awsome scene though. I REALLLY REALLY hope they bring back Toph, I loved her so much, she had amazing control over her earth-bending!

That would actually be Avatar Roku. The past Avatar from the Fire Nation. Only Ang has the power to use all four bending techniques. I think the guy with the sword is his new Master (or were you talking about him?) or Iro. I tend to think Iro will teach him, but i am optimistic.

That guy was a lot younger than Avatar Roku and didn't have white hair. It didn't look like one person doing all 4 at the same time, it looked like 4 people doing it at once (Kitara-water, Aang-Air, Toph-earth, New Teacher-fire). I'm not even sure if the avatar can do two at once.

The scene shows Roku on the beach performing all four elements in all directions. I think the Avatar can do two at once. I mean they are all powerful once they are fully trained and, if you remember the story of the former Avatar who seperated the island to protect her people. She was doing all four at once to move the island.

Also, not just Aang having the new look. Sokka having that wolf helmet looks cool, and Kitara is just having her hair down.

..|..|man...i'm glad there is a great following for this show. i need to buy season 2 on dvd if its available soon. i don't have access to see the show on a regular basis. can't help love this show not just the action and everything, but i love the story and the characters involved in it as well. many Thumbs up..|..|..|..|..|
 
Toph annoying? Yea she can be a bit of a bitch, but thats cuss she's been sheltered all her life. She's VERY independent, but one thing you can't deny is her amazing control over her earth bending... I mean, come on, the girl can even use her earth bending to metal bend!
 
I haven't seen it since either late 2005 or early 2006, but it's a good show. I think it's great for kids to have a show like that. It's a lot different than what you usually see on Nickelodeon. That and Hey, Arnold! are my favorites! =D
