I've read stories of "Dominionism" before, Perry's prayer service in Houston this past year, comes to mind. This one is the scariest I've seen and it explains a lot about Bachmann. Can you imagine what she would try to do? I use the word try because she would need a Congress to accomplish it.
I put the last para in because of what it is saying. Do they actually believe they would accomplish this? It seems they are trying to continue the inquisition.

Bachmann Endorser Grant Says "It Is Dominion We Are After. World Conquest"

Submitted by Kyle Mantyla on November 15, 2011 - 4:27pm

For months now, all we have been hearing is that there is no such thing as "Dominionism" and that nobody on the Religious Right has ever even heard of it and even if it did exist, it was something believed only by a tiny minority of activists who have no ties to the Religious Right or leading Republicans.

Which is all very confusing, because here is a video of Dr. George Grant endorsing Michele Bachmann for president:

--snip--

Thus, Christian politics has as its primary intent the conquest of the land - of men, families, institutions, bureaucracies, courts, and governments for the Kingdom of Christ. It is to reinstitute the authority of God's Word as supreme over all judgments, over all legislation, over all declarations, constitutions, and confederations.

Just pray that they don't succeed in 2012 with any of their candidates.

Churches have metastasized into the public sphere and they must be stopped. We're supposed to have separation of church and state in the United States. Churches are not taxed and are supposed to remain separate from the state. What's happening now is that they are trying to exert power over the state and public policy. Which is not not only wrong, it's unconstitutional in the U.S.

<scream>

He doesn't know what a statesman is. He says it's someone of "unflinching principles". Well, there's a bit of that -- but the real statesman is the one who knows that often you give the other side something they want in order to accomplish a goal. A real statesman is one who can command respect from all across the spectrum because of integrity, so we he/she says it's time to compromise, it happens.

Neither he nor Bachmann know anything of compromise.

And by the way, what he's spouting is heresy: Christ nowhere taught His people to take over political structures. It's the antithesis of the Gospel.

Dominionism is nothing more than a group of elitists who call themselves christian but in reality want to take over the world. This is screwed up belief system.

Well the Batshit crazy poster girl for fake degrees from Oral Roberts U, reparative therapy and the return of Water Boarding believes in Armageddon, we know that for sure.

If they win handily in 2012, how long before they begin their final solution?
I know how easy this is, but I smell Germany, 1932 here. :help:

The WWII concentration camps are still here. All we have to do is turn on the electricity. I've already heard the claim (more than once) that the family is the foundation of the American way of life. I have also heard that homosexuality is an affront to the family. Therefore, in order to strengthen national security... voilà! I may sound a little paranoid, but when the tumbrils come, don't say I didn't warn you. I wouldn't put anything past these freaks who call themselves Republicans.

They have delusions of marching around cities, blowing trumpets, and watching the walls fall down.

Unfortunately for them, not many cities have walls these days.

He can take his "unflinching principles" and keep them to himself. After this clown and his kind are done with this country which will be left stretched thin establishing colonial possessions like 1950s-era France? All this guy wants to do is establish America into a Victorian-like Empire with no regard for human rights in other countries.

Look up King Leopold and the Belgian Congo. Heart of Darkness by Conrad. This dominion crap and conquering those "who don't know any better" isn't new.

The Europeans conquered different lands in the name of converting the "heathen and un-Christians barbarians" in other countries. The Spanish did it to spread "Christian principles" to South America... it's nothing more then greed and megalomania, and in today's world that won't happen.

Except they mean to do it through the existing political systems.

From the Mass reading for today. (Matt 25)

‘Then the King will say to those on his right hand, “Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take for your heritage the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you made me welcome; naked and you clothed me, sick and you visited me, in prison and you came to see me.” ..... “I tell you solemnly, in so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me.”

These people are so into prophecy and the book of Revelation...I hope they realize that a philosophy of Domininism makes them the anti-christ.
