back and shoulder hair

now that its summer, id like to go to the pool and beach but wont go because of my back and shoulder hair. now i have a hairy chest but i love it and trim it so that its not so wild. i WONT shave my body hair since it itches and dont want to wax. anyone have any suggestions as to how to easily remove my back and shoulder hair so i can go out in public?

What about NAIR? They even make a men's version which supposedly is a little stronger to handle the coarseness of men's hair.

got the same problem..was actually just about to ask about Nair for men...is it good? I don't wanna shave cause of the itchiness and also kinda awkward to shave my back by myself i'd feel like i'd miss places...lol not that it's that hairy...but just it's in patches in like the middle....whatever..lol

any suggestions? is nair good?

I've used nair and I liked it. I havent tried the mens nair but I've seen it in the stores. If you doing this by yourself how are you going to get the nair in the middle of you back? I know it sucks to shave by yourself but.............

Nair works great but is messy. It basically "melts" the hair with acid and smells pretty bad but you'll be as smooth as a baby's bottom afterwards and it takes longer for the hair to grow back compared to shaving/trimming. I would do a small area first as some people with sensitive skin can have real trouble with the acidity of the product (and I would NOT recommend you use it on your cock/balls or anus). I really didn't feel anything except a little tingle maybe and it was kind of cool to just wipe off all the hair after a few minutes. The downside is that you have to put a rather thick layer down so you go through the bottle fast and the shit's not cheap! Just be sure you read and follow all the directions if you're a first time user.

i went to two CVS's today and neither had Nair for Men...so I was looking at the other ones....and I think I'm gonna try Nads hair remover...it's a squeeze tube but has a foam applicator on the end that you use to apply it instead of getting the stuff on your hands....and it's melon scented...lol....i think i'm gonna go back and get it tomorrow cause at the time i decided i would just do shaving...but fuck i feel like it would grow back so fast like my beard

I'm still wondering how one would get the nair on your own back. I'm hairy by nature but I've started shaving my chest but it looks weird because my back/shoulders are still kinda hairy

Just have one patch of hair right above my ass-on my lower back--I can't see it and it's pretty much blonde so it so doesn't bother me.


On the right guy---back hair is kinda sexy. There was a young guy swimming next to me the other day---and I quite enjoyed watching his furry back as he did laps.

I asked about this on another posting for shaving and someone suggested using baby oil to soothe the skin. Hey... I'll try anything!

regardless of what hair removal method you use, baby oil is a good way to prevent ingrown hairs. that's the cause of the "pimples" that you see after you remove the hair.

after you shower, rub a bit of baby oil onto your wet skin, then pat it dry with a towel. unfortunately, it makes your towel a bit oily, so you'll have to wash it more often. it doesn't block your pores, so you should be fine. i have pretty oily skin, and it's never caused me any problems.

I've tried waxing, twice, and both times it resulted in some serious back rash/bumps. I've given up on waxing, since the bumps last for months and looks much worse than a bit of hair. I did use Nair or something once, which worked. It just smelt like crap, and I had minor irritation. I've sort of shaved a few spots (I can't reach to do the whole thing lol), and that works too, and is probably least invasive.

Get a man's body shaver. Norelco makes a good one as does Panasonic. You can get them almost anywhere these days. I don't like Nair or Nads becuase they are a pain in the ass and I always miss something. With the body trimmer/shaver I can get my whole back, ass, and crack.

Re the shaver, try the Mangroomer. It opens up with a long arm to get at the hard to reach places on your back.

I've used Nair a couple of times. I applied it to the hard to reach spots with a rubber spatula. It made my back break out, so I'm going to try one of these grooming tools suggested here next time.

I did laser treat ment. It was very expensive, but the results were amazing. I don't have any hair on my back anymore, somtimes on my shoulders, but i shave it quickly.

I don't understand why there isn't a cream on the market that just kills the hair follicle as an alternative to laser treatments. Why do we spend all this money on hair removal products when what we really want is not to remove the hair, but to just make it stop growing? Would it be too dangerous or toxic to have a cream like that on the market? Or would it be non profitable since you'd only ever need to buy one bottle?

Just like prescription medicines and deseases. They don't wanna cure it permanently, they just wanna treat it enough so that they'll see you back in a couple of weeks to buy more.
