Who said banning by a mod was a bad thing?

Seriously though, I'm glad you've metamorphosed into a butterfly. Your euphoria seems to have made your spelling a little better :D

Now, the trick is to keep being good ..|

I never really thought much of you as pissing people off. But I guess some people are more sensitive to subjects then others. Glad you're friend accepts you. I'd love to come out at college. But it don't feel right yet.

Jamesdude fighting is dead. No sense in trying to say that "you had to fight dirty" that goes without saying nowadays. Honor itself is dead.

But yeah. I would have probably been trying to act all tough and end up getting my ass kicked or killed. You're alive to tell the story and that's what matters.

Drunken idiots are fun to mess with though :P

Oh yeah. Welcome back.

Hey Jamesdude... welcome back.

As much as we'd like to think that banning someone from an internet board might be a catalyst to them making some great changes in their life I think we'd be underestimating what you've done in the last week.

What you did in coming out to your friend took courage and strength and its something you should feel proud of. You deserve that feeling of having that burden lifted... its a big one and it can drag you down.

And your ability to look at JUB with new eyes is great too. When you think about the support and growth that its offered you then perhaps its time to think about the way you use it.

No one ever wants to be banned mate. And no one ever wants to ban someone.

JUB is an amazing place that just gives and gives in so many ways that you dont realise until its gone. But it takes all of us to give back, to act as a community and to remember that the affect it has on us it has on others.

JUB is only as good as what we put into mate... that unconditional support your friend gave you... JUB's your chance to give it back.

Thanks for sharing your stories mate... its great it went so well!!!

You must know how I feel about your return.

You were not banned for thoughtcrimes. You were banned for hateful language.

So while you were away, you kicked someone in the nuts and ran away and you think this is winning a fight.

Everyone is congratulating you for being back and telling someone you're gay.

We'll see.

James, first be honest with yourself and everybody here. You were banned for breaking the rules. I'm not going to cite chapter and verse of your transgressions, but suffice it to say you earned that vacation.

Now, that having been said, I'm glad you used that time, in part at least, to further yourself as a person. You mentioned the weight having been removed from your shoulders, that's important in terms of lowering your stress level. And increasing your self esteem.

I hope that your hiatus has made you a bit more introspective. I'm hoping that facing down some of your demons successfully, will make you think better of drinking to excess. Maybe you've started to notice that drinking tends to get you into trouble. Hey. I like to tip 'em back with the best of them. But I know where the line is. I didn't always. It's called maturity.

I sincerely welcome you back and hope that we can all move forward, into whatever live may hold for all of us in our little community. Take care!
