my boys have finally grown into men! backstreet boys are back with an edgier sound and a new image since their hit single "incomplete" in 2005. i heard it on my way home from work this evening and the dj announced a new single off from their new album. the song is entitled "inconsolable". i think this song is going to be another major hit for backstreet. i feel this is the type of music the boys should still be aiming for after their last album was such a success in 2005. anyway, i am so excited that the group stayed together to make such a great song.

I like it. In my case, the Backstreet Boys were the first pop songs I actually liked, so that's probably why I enjoy their music so much. I was in Middle School when they were getting popular, so all of my friends either loved them or hated them, and the same with Nsync. I think they talent. So what if they're old? Some great singers have been around for years. We all get old, whether or not we're singing, or painting, or teaching students year after year.

This song is OK. Nothing more. I don't think it's a hit by a long shot! Incomplete was a better song. Millenium was probably their best album.

They are a decent "band", but I don't think I can respect them like I could in the past.

Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely and I Want It That Way are great songs. Quit Playing Games With My Heart is decent too. Better than average. But the video, they tried WAY too hard, LOL XD

Sometimes they came off as sexy, but I think they were just too young then. Howie, as annoying as he used to be to me, has a hot body, and he did back then too!

Longevity: 5 more years. Maybe 10, tops.

I'm actually surprised that their last album was a hit. But I'm happy for them.

Broke Straight Boys has good love balads, while Nsync done more dance tunes. Anyway, I'll bet it flops, and/or the singles suck.
