Hm..well..Ok I revise my above statement:
I was the initial cause.
The other person just dragged it on and on with false pretenses.

That's more honest that a lot of people are. I think its always a good thing to have our eyes wide open about our own behavior. It helps to change the outcome the next time.
 
No relationship, hands down, beats a bad one.

Someone above mentioned being a loner. Well, that's me. I have managed to find and keep a few good, true friends who are worth more to me than anything I own. If I never have a boyfriend/lover/husband, so be it. I'd rather be in the good company of myself than be with someone who isn't right for me, or me for him.

Having been in a bad relationship and scared for my life (they drank 3 litres of brandy a day), I would rather be alone and alive.
