Actually, the troop drawdown was planned and the execution started under the Bush Administration and under the present Sec. of Defense. It is American policy, agreed upon by two administrations and Van's attempt at a BAITING thread just is not valid.

I've liked them since I was a kid. Its just something I enjoy. Like why does someone enjoy playing soccer or collecting baseball cards or whatever. It's not a violent thing (to me), it's just something I enjoy.

I like learning about them, taking them apart and putting them together, stuff like that.
What do I feel when I shoot them? ... Usually mild disappointment, since I'm not a very good shot. Hahaha but for me, it's about putting a hole in the middle of a target, not a person.
Why do I feel the need to shoot out the center of a target? ... Why do people get so crazy about kicking a soccer ball into a goal, carrying a football over a painted line, or finding a baseball signed by some dead guy?

I don't get that either ...
I can only guess it may be about control and/or skills recognition in the first 2 cases... and about feeling special or greed in the last... maybe?

Personally I love swords, which I find aesthetically perfect objects, I love slicing/cutting things... must be a control thing too... like the idea of shaping the external world to my will (proves I exist and interact with my environment) ... I was just wondering if the act of destruction by guns was about something similar... if it's about targeting skills I think I'd like a bow and arrows better for it is more complete that just aiming...

But Chance, we have higher standards for the MOD's than for the riff raff. Of course, if it were not for baiting threads this forum would have less traffic than the porno religious forum.
