In Dallas tx closing time is 2am, they have last call at like 1:45am -1:50am ,then at 2am you have to stop drinking ,they kick you out the door at 2:15am. Only exception is the Dallas Eagle leather bar ,it stays open until 3am although from 2-3 you can only drink non alcoholic beverages. usually the only guys you see at that time are the drunks trying to sober up or the desperate ones still trying to pick up a trick

When I went to New Orleans , the gay bars never closed . they were 24 hrs a day. someone would come in to clean like at 7am when it was the slowest but they never stopped serving drinks. and you can walk around anywhere in downtown with a drink,,was weird the first time i did it ..

MO is 1:30 state wide, but it can vary depending on locale and license. In KC, quite a few bars have 3AM licenses.

The pubs bars close at 3 AM (but usually they'll be open until 3:30 AM. Not a big problem 0:00 most of the Discos are open and don't close until 7:00/9:00 AM. When you go out from there you'll find the bars open again just in case you haven't had enough.

Many Spanish cities have noise laws. I remember those good times in Leon when I could stay until 7:00 in my favorite pubs and then to go to sleep, nevermore.

Technically 4am here in NYC, but there are some that (not legally) just stop letting people in at close and let the people who are already in keep ordering drinks and partying. Always a good time.

Here in Quebec the bars close at 3:00 A.M, last call generally starts at around 2:45 but you can get a drink most of the time 'till 3:00.

in the san francisco bay area and in phoenix, it's 2am.

in new york city the bars close a 4am and then the after hours clubs open at 4am, so the you can keep buying booze and partying if you want.

in the las vegas, the strip closes, but the rest of the bars don't.

In Amherst MA they close at 1:00am......if you go 1/2 hour to Northampton they're open til 2.

4AM is the general closing of most bars, with a bunch that close at 6AM.
But then a couple of clubs/bars near-by, are from 6AM - late.

You can buy alcohol in a store/supermarket 24/7 Monday - Friday, and until 10PM on Saturday.. I love the 24 hour license, lol!

Addendum.

In Oregon, at 1:00AM, an hour before closing, you are not any longer allowed to buy shots, or martinis.

Strange things happen when government meddles in ordinary affairs.....

Some bars in Eugene close at 4. Can't remember which ones. I still like Portland bars better though.

We have bars in Portland that close at 4:00 as well, but from 2:00 to 4:00 they can only sell soft drinks in Oregon. They're only open for the dancers, tweakers, etc..
