It's a ridiculous thing to do. Naming a public edifice after anybody is supposed to be an honor. Honors are something you earn. Getting elected, is his only accomplishment, thus far.

Martin Luther King has a national holiday that we take off work and he didn't directly accomplish anything. He has a holiday because of his exceptional character, eloquence, and what he REPRESENTS. If you wanna get to the nitty gritty, it should be Lyndon B. Johnson Day because HE accomplished something. His name officiates the document that embodies MLK's message.

Doesn't take a genius to see that you are both absolutely certain your views are correct and you will argue them until one of you backs down, which won't happen.

I know how it goes. I'm stubborn as hell, but I also know when continuing to argue my point serves no purpose.

I do have an opinion on this, but I'm not going to get involved. Not in the mood for that today. At least one person here really would not like what I say.
