The problem with the guys have that have been more than a year away from the industry is the shock they encounter when they get told the rates are half or even a quarter what they were making before they "retired".

I think he will quickly "retire" again. This is more than likely just a way to generate some "advertising" for when he starts escorting again.

Barrett was actually a producer that performed in his own movies, not just a performer. From what I read, he's starting another production company, not looking for work as a performer. Also, from what I heard, Long never stopped escorting, he just took a break from porn.

You don't need to tell me about Barrett Long. I know all about him and have for years.

I read the blog yesterday and he is clearly is planning on performing not just producing.

I would like to add that I don't find the news of his return, in any capacity, appealing in any way.

After his Howard Stern interview, where he trashed the gay porn industry, the only way I would encourage him is if his first new video featured him auto-asphyxiating with barbwire as he fucks Cody Cumming$, with a baseball bat, while rest of the Next Door Gay4Payers played Russian roullette, with a full loaded gun, in the background. I'm a big fan of Barrett Long. Unfortunately, he has made a lot of stupid comments regarding being gay4pay that has turned off a lot of fans. I guess people actually believe what these guys say. I'm in no position to apply a label to Barrett, but for a straight guy, he sure seems to spend most of his time in the "gay world."

Anyway, a couple of months ago, Long said he was making a comeback and launched a new site, http://elevenbyseven.typepad.com/ and a surrogate tweets as him @elevenbyseven and he recently appeared in a Jet Set Men film. His site and twitter account have been quiet for a couple of weeks, so maybe that comeback has already crashed and burned. But, if he decided reappear, I'd take a fresh look.

Didn't see him in anything new or hear about any scenes,good riddance to bad rubbish. His scenes became more and more lackluster as time went on. It was really easy to tell he didn't enjoy what he was doing.
