I haven't checked back to see if this Australian comedian has already been mentioned in here but he has several characters in his portfolio, the most famous of whom is his Dame Edna Everage, house-wife, squillionairess and international super-star. In this segment from a 1989 chat show, she joins Lauren Bacall and Richard Gere. He, poor guy, is sent up mercilessly: "You're not a sex symbol to me, darling, in fact you're actually a bit of a turn-off ... "



As Sir Les Patterson, the Australian Cultural Attache to the Court of St. James in London, he appears to be well-equipped in the trouser department, as you'll see in this next little chat-show clip ...



Finally, here he is as Sandy the Ghost in a 30-minute monologue, quite different from the other two characters, but still quite entertaining, I think ...
