Seems like every 10 years someone rediscovers the secret to being a real man.

Bedros Keuilian has the idea of "MDK" or Modern Day Knight Project. A Boot Camp, or Man Camp, to restore traditional maleness, for a fee.

I grew up in the old south, where real men discuss the world over all you can eat barbeque beef and pork.

This leads me to thoughts that toxic masculinity is at work here, and that people say there is no real initiation process for boys to become men in modern society. I'm sure all this fits together somehow, but I haven't figured out all the whats, whys, and wherefores of it.

I thought I'd throw this out there, in case anybody wants to pick up on these ideas.

So, to be a 21st century man, free from the chains of the past, get's derailed by even the slightest resistance from other men. Maybe instead of "Modern Day Knight", we just need "Modern".
