How attracted are you to your boyfriend?

Do you think he's the hottest thing in the world and you just wanna strip him naked all the time? Or is he just good looking in your eyes?...average looking? Or are you not attracted to him?

The reason I'm asking is because I recently ended a relationship with a bguy i truly love, and it really comes down to the fact that I was just not attracted to him. I feel absolutely terrible, maybe I made the wrong decision. I'm no looker either.

But is it possible to "develop" an attraction toward someone?

From an objective viewpoint, stepping back, sizing him up, I find him average. I've certainly seen guys who were more attractive.

But here's the thing. I'm in love with him. And love warps your vision. It turns moles into beauty marks, and fat into love handles. And because of that, even though he may not be incredibly attractive, I'm very attracted to him. :)

I'm EXTREMELY attracted to my boyfriend. He'll be trying to talk with me about "blah blah blah blah" and I'll just look at him and say "you're so handsome Jim."

I think it's very important to be physically attracted to your other half. The thing of it is, and maybe this is easier for girls than men, but I think that when you really love someone you can develop the chemistry that's needed ...

I also think that it's important to be able to realize that body's change: If you spend over a decade with person you'll see him or her totally change before your eyes. People gain or lose weight, or hair changes, or teeth change, wrinkles appear ...

Whether you're gay or straight, I think what I'm saying applies.

Jason is a total hottie! I swoon ever time I look at him. He has dark curly hair and green eyes and he's tall and in shape. He's the perfect male specimen TO ME.

By the way, I'm more into personality and brains than I am looks. Jason is also extremely clever, sincere, and kind hearted. He's a great guy. I'd be into him even if he wasn't similar to prince charming (well, prince charming w/ dark hair).

Oh, Gosh! he turns me on every way it is possible to turn me on. He's beautiful inside and out. I love to watch him undress or to undress him slowly. I love how that beautiful ass moves when he walks. He drives me crazy when he wears sweatpants.

I'm extremely attracted to my partner. So very much.

Thankfully he isn't only attracted to me physically. I say thankfully as since quitting smoking (the first time) a couple of years ago, I gained about 35 pounds and really lost my shape.

It's been a struggle to do things in the right order to get back on track. Build my confidence as much as possible, change my eating habits and portion sizes, and recently joining the gym.

He's never pushed me, but has always supported me, knowing well that I have to do things my way in my time.

As I say I've been, imho, physically unattractive for over 18 months and am only just starting to deal with it effectively. Still, my man has loved and supported me throughout.

And OMFG is he a hottie. :gogirl:

sorry to hear you had to go through all of these. what you have felt was normal.
i know a gay guy who is with his bf of so many years; but he says he is not attracted to him, or he doesn't think his bf is that attractive.

my bf is attractive; but, he is one dimesional...so take your pick.

I don't have typical tastes, but my boyfriend is the most attractive man I've ever met in my life. If I didn't know him and saw him on the street, it's not that I'd instantly start drooling over him, but he would catch my eye and the kind of eye-catching where I'd watch him until he was out of view. :rb:

Face wise, I have a thing for noses, and sideburns. Just the other night I was telling him that I love his nose. :lol: It's not even a requirement but it happens to be one of my favorite facial features when it's done right and his is perfect! He has cute little sideburns that fit within his work dress code. I wouldn't want them any bigger, and I wouldn't want them gone.

Body wise, I have a thing for arms. Especially forearms and hands - and I love his! Also perfect. Perfect amount of hair and the perfect amount of manhands. Mmm. Another thing that's important to me is body hair, and he has the utmost perfect amount. He has hair in the exact same spots as me, and even in the same formation, but just a little bit less hairy than me. Lastly, omg, his butt. I'm not even an ass guy (in the least... more into bottoming sooo..) but omg! His butt is so cute! I can't even handle it. I've rarely even been one to say someone has a cute butt, but man, I can't even stop touching or pinching his. Perfect amount of hair, perfect size... (!) Don't even get me started on his underwear choices. Adorable.

In summary, I'm really fucking attracted to my boyfriend. There's an age gap of 29 years, yet I've never seen a physical connection so strong. All my life really, I've never run into a guy I thought was attractive enough for my tastes to date. Well, there were, but not gay guys. So either they were straight, or not quite in my attraction niche. Then this man came along, and I still to this day am extremely thankful that when I fell for him the feelings were mutual.

i think after 27 years its safe for me to answer that i find my partner very attractive. more so now than when we were young men....even tho he was hot as hell then. he's better now. more aware of himself as a person. he's aged quite well and i'm lucky to have him by my side.
