I find some...

Here is Brute
(Brutal men art by simon)

http://www.brute.es/

What do you think??
Do you like brute??

It's quite good, but nothing special compared to the standard in drawing and painting. His characters all look the same because he has an obsession with the actor Bob Hoskins, they look a bit static and even if exaggerated, the proportions are off.

And don't you think Viste characters, they all look the same???

I can't believe what I'm reading. Brute pays a very special attention to details that other artists simply ignore and about proportions like someone said, well we're talking about drawings and I suposse that the artist doesn't want to reflect reality but creating fantasy or whatever doesn't exist. Yes, I agree about Bob Hoskins face but take a look to many other artists (Viste... etc) their characters they all have a face pattern which varies very little.

Care to point out these "very special attention to details"? A lot of it is pretty easy to do with brushes in photoshop... if you know how to manipulate the brushes.

Of course, but even being "so easy" you got to paint it. It's a questión of recreation in details (whatever the difficulty required)

But you can set the brushes up to scatter, change size, direction, and one brush stroke could yield like 50+ hairs. But, yeah, it took skill either way... I'm just not blown away by it at all.
