Alright, so i dont know where else to put this in the forums so Im just gonna as here. Do you guys find moles attractive, unattractive, or neutral (you have no preference). I wanna know this because I have A LOT of moles(many on my face :() and i HATE them! And before any one asks, yes ive been to the dermatologist, but they said to remove them would be expensive and not worth it (could scar and make it worse). So I'm basically stuck with them and I sometimes feel really self-conscious about them. Some people i ask say I souldn't worry about them, that they just add character, but idk... Supposedly, to some, I'm also good-looking. Please help me...

thanks for the reply, Loki! Makes me feel a little better :-)

some moles can be quite sexy :) it's only the HUGE ones that are kinda displeasing to the eye for me, but even there it depends where they are ..

I find moles, birthmarks, and such to be attractive.

The reason why is simple - they are more unique and personal than other types of beauty. I find the person with some unique personal features which I can get to know and enjoy far more attractive than the more common types.

:D

I was a bit like you OP a few years ago!

I brought some of this; http:// no-moles.com/order-mole-removal/ (Put the spaces together)

Does it work? Yes!

Result.... in the end I only used it on 6 moles on my body... they weren't huge or anything but they made me feel ugly. But the problem with moles is they go quite deep under the skin and the process of removing them with the stuff above, although I believe it's natural, was kinda gross. ;)

Now I sorta just accept what I have. You have to really... you can be beautiful regardless. :D

Thank you everyone for taking time to input your opinions! It's nice to hear everyone's different personal tastes and preferences :D

How many is many, what kind and how big (raised?) are they? Where? Is there a risk of cutting them when shaving?

My advice in general is to get rid of anything that has a chance to grow bigger or deeper with age. Better to remove a mole when it's small and you don't have to excavate, plus your skin is young and heals better.

You're only self conscious because you're staring at your perceived faults, while other people see the whole picture. Make a point at looking at other people with moles, also older ones (does it run in the family?). Does it detract from their appearance? The answer is probably "no".

I know a dude who has a lot of moles and he is very handsome!

Here's a suggestion. It wouldn't be that expensive to have ONE mole removed, right?

So tell your dermatologist (or a different one who supports your decision) that you would like ONE mole removed.

Select the mole you find the most offensive. With the lasers and all, it's not going to scar. And for one mole, the scar wouldn't be that much anyway.

At first I thought I'd just give you the "you're beautiful as you are" speech, but on second thought, Why shouldn't you have them removed if you want?

With today's technology? Go for it! Just try one mole removal and see how it goes.

No matter how expensive it is it won't be a lot if you do one mole at a time, over time.

It really depends where the moles location and size. I have had two moles removed by my general practitioner.

I have a mole on the left side of my face. I used to be embarrassed about it, but over time I started to like it. Made me look slightly different than everyone else.

Its not like it stuck out or anything just a dark spot on my face. I heard someone tell me once and I will never forget it, "Its the imperfections that make you beautiful." For some reason that stuck to me.

look at my body... i love all my moles and i'm proud of them! we are who we are!
