I was reading an article this morning about a woman, Kristen Grant, who became an ordained minister, just so she could sign mask exemptions for parents who didn't want their children having to obey school masking mandates.

“It’s not my job to prove, or really ask, and it’s not my business what their religion necessarily is,” Grant said. “I’m a Constitutional Christian. I think the Constitution is there for a reason. God created our bodies in a perfect way. People told me I was exploiting Jesus. People can think what they want to think but in my heart I feel that God has called me to help people through this situation.”

Kristen was ordained by an online registration through the Universal Life Church. No courses were necessary. No classes were necessary. Just fill in the registration form which included:

Full Name
Email
Country
State/Province/Region
Age certification
Password
Password Confirmation

That's it. Click the Submit button and presto chango, you're an ordained minister.

This gives her the right to sign mask exemptions without the burden of supplying religious objections.

This is a serious serious loophole that should be plugged. I've also read that schools are refusing such exemption requests provided by doctors and ministers who sign en masse for complete strangers, as they should.

And what about Kristen Grant? Her words speak for themselves:

She laughed when someone posted - during her livestream - that some parents are requiring that children who have religious exceptions be placed in a separate room. “Well, f ---”, she said, “I would be everything for that ... What is that? Nineteen-Friggin - is that Ruby Bridges shit, is that her name? "She was referring to the six-year-old girl who, in 1960, became the first black student to join an elementary school in the south.
Connie Schultz: “He's Dying”: A teen called 911 for her dad with COVID-19 and watched her life turn upside down
During the video, she repeatedly paused to yell at her daughter. “Oh, Jesus Christ, right, right! You have to turn around - I can't handle this shit…. You have to go, it's a yellow light. There are no cars coming, damn shit ... I'm going to give you the fuck. "
When I told her that I was not used to hearing such words from a pastor, she did not apologize.
"I can love Jesus and I can love the word f --- very much ... Nowhere in the Bible does it say, 'You can't use swear words." "

Kristen is reckless and has no morals.

It seems to me that she doesn't care about her actions can affect others.

The degradation of religious licensing is obscene.

But so is religion I guess.

Didn't Homer Simpson become ordained once? I'm sure I saw it in an episode back in the late 60s.

People should be exempted from mask wearing for medical reasons, not religious ones. A system which allows ministers of religion, whether genuine or not, to sign off on this sort of thing is seriously flawed. The woman herself is a charlatan.

^ What's even worse is that it has become a 'for profit' business for doctors, ministers, and churches. Some doctors and ministers are demanding a fee and some churches are demanding a donation. Some, like our foul-mouthed friend above, sign them for free, but the officials and authorities are watching and catching on and not accepting their exemption requests.

Their minister store is fun. Lots of hocus-pocus trinkets, including face masks for COVID-19 safety. LOL

I already have the long sleeve shirt. I'm tempted to get ordained just to see what kind of junk mail I'd get in my inbox.

And, I believe that there are places where clergy can legally represent people in a court of law, too. That might be fun.

Edit; Where are my manners. I forgot to say thanks for the link.

Like everything else the troglodytes are doing, the point is to be selfish, spiteful, and deliberately insulting. There isn't anything that they'd fail to poison in order to hate everyone else.

'Nowhere in the Bible does it say, 'You can't use swear words."'
From Jesus himself:
" Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man." (Matthew 15:11)

A precautionary measure.

He just wants you to swallow so no-one finds out what you two were up to.

Oh no, we've been talking about it for a while.

Now we're arguing over the reception caterer.

[STRIKE]Constitutional[/STRIKE] Selective Christianity.

There have always been fake priests and ministers, but now if you get one of these, you're not even fake anymore!
