I posted them because I wanted to show it off. I don't care if people like it or not, but I like it and I wanted to show it off. Like when I bought a new motorcycle and posted pictures of that here.

Or when other people post pictures of their tomato plants (which I did last week on Facebook).

Well I can answer that one, and I'm someone who generally thinks tattoos are a silly waste of time.

You can get something for yourself entirely and still let other people enjoy it as a pleasant side-effect.

Do you really think the decision to get a tattoo is based on favourable reviews on the internet?

Oh, come on, Jasun, of course you care. You would have been totally disappointed had there not been any compliments or had the comments been negative.

And yes, of course people get tattoos that they think will be viewed favorably by others. That's why they come out snarling like a cornered cat, when anyone makes disparaging comments, reverting to the "it was a VERY personal decision" and "I don't care what anyone thinks."

Yeah. I decided to get a huge tattoo of Hogwarts Castle to impress people at JUB.

I really don't care if people like it or not. I'm proud of it and I wanted to show it off. I dont' think I was a snarling at all.

And I'm still at hot piece of ass at 41, too.

And yes... the whole sleeve starting at my wrist, going up my arm, over my shoulder, down my back and now across my chest is Hogwarts Castle.

Which probably makes everything think I'm lame.
