Maturing people need responsibilities for their life to pay the dividends that reveal the adult, at home with his wiser self.

It takes a lifetime. But its worth the while trying.
 
I was out of college several years, living with my man in our own home, working on my career and I felt dishonest when I referred to myself as a man. I didn't feel too adult, I often felt scared and unsure of myself. I think I made the mistake of thinking that being an adult meant being completely independent of others.
It takes time to grow into a mindset of maturity where you recognize who you are.
 
At age 28, I had a little party where I said farewell to Sallie Mae forever. Documents were burned, and a good time was had by all.

LOL. It's called living in a small country town. We have three radio stations. The one is called The Beach. Easy listening/ oldies radio station that I listen too. They play alot of the older songs that I grew up with and well my taste in music is kind of lame.....yeah...more attracted to the music that I grew up with or that is older then me.

Trust me....it sucks when people ask what your taste in music is! LOL

Ahhh to be 23 again. Sorry landers but one day you just wake up and blam. Adulthood his you square in the teeth. For me it was when i was 24. I noticed that there was no more Saturday Morning cartoons that interested me anymore..... :cry:
