Being Intimidated by Good Looks

I have no issues just talking to someone - I just talk - it's moving beyond the talk that stumps me when I think someone is too good looking to reciprocate my interest....

I swear there are single celled creatures out there with more self awareness and erudition.
 
Fugly has nothing to do with age. A man can be fugly at any age.

However he should embrace it but not act like he has a right to choose. A fugly needs to accept whatever he gets and must be out of his mind to reject a GQ.
 
You know sophomore year in college, i was severely attracted to a fugly.

It was the 4th day of class and initially for those first 3 classes i was disgusted by him i could barely stand the site of him.


Then day 4 the professor asked a question and the fugly started to answer and then i realized how intelligent he was.

I got so turned on by his intellect i started to stalk him till i eventually found a way to befriend him and we became really good friends. If he was not straight who knows what would have happened.


So i guess that goes to show you that looks aren't everything.


That was the first time that intellect (alone) made someone attractive to me.


I just needed to hear him speak and soak up all he had to say. I just couldnt get enough of him.

My mind is still reeling that you actually made it to sophomore year in college.

Although, you may the reason for the term 'sophomoric' as a pejorative.

Obviously for your 'fugly' friend, intellect and personality were not big issues for him in befriending you.

Yes i hated English class. I would always get "A" for content; but he would always mark me down for editing.

My other professor she was more fair. She gave me "As"; but advised me to work on my editing. At the end of the day whats important is the content because they pay people to edit books and screenplays.

I never made use of the writing lab and it was free too.

In any event this is an informal message board so i could care less about a comma here and a comma there but thanks for all that red ink lol.
 
Telly, Gentlemens Quarterly is a fashion rag mad that has some interesting articles, a lot of fluff and advertising and many pictures of beautiful male model types wearing $3000.00 suits, $500.00 shirts, $20,000.00 bling watches, speedo type swimmers and boardies at $150.00 + a pop.....kinda a male Glamour magazine.

Good looking people arent usually good in bed. Why? Because they dont have to be.


Fuglys and average looking people are just so excited to be with a good looking person that they end up not caring how bad they are in bed.
