hello everybody! doesn't any of you think the level of BA movies is lower and lower? It seems like they are picking up any Czech boy and filming him! I would be glad to hear what you think bout it.

On the contrary, I think they are getting so good! Their latest releases are of good quality: No Experience Necessary, Red Hot Chili Sex, Rebel, are all really good.
Mating Season stands out, as it features a 40 minute oral scene with Joe Amis sucking and swallowing loads from 10 different guys! Really hot!
They're keeping the nice and gentle lighting but trying to add a bit of an edge. I think it works!

Bel Ami produces some beautiful porn: lush, colorful cinematography and guys that are usually gorgeous. More often than not though, I find the sex in Bel Ami films to be tepid at best. The guys usually aren't very passionate, their oral skills are lacking (has any Bel Ami model ever deepthroated, or even come close?), and the bottoms always seem to be limp. Some early Bel Ami films were scorching, but for the last few years -- with only a few exceptions -- I find them unarousing.
 
I think they definately get the hottest guys in the industry and consistently. The videography is also always top rate. When they do close-ups, they do it right. The guys are usually convincingly passionate with each other. Although, I would like to see them take it farther more often, as the sex is usually just vanilla.
 
NOOOO WAYY! I really thought it was getting boring w/ the Out in Africa trilogy and Pillow Talk 1-3. But after seeing the trailers for No Experience Neccasry-Rebel, its defintaly gotten better! In fact, they should make more movies like Red Hot Chili Sex, using BUFF muscular models like Mikhail Ryzkov, Steve jennings, Casper Watts, etc. And newcommer Paul Valery has a dick of death!

I think the general consensus is against you on this one, vanorman! Personally, I have always thought Bel Ami to be one of the more professional companies when it comes to casting and technical/production values. All the boys are winners and the photography is crystal clear. I think they are consistent on these two points.

When it comes to porn viewing, I doubt if I could live on a diet of Bel Ami alone. However, slipping a BA disc into my player occasionally is always a rewarding experience and I have to disagree with vanorman (like everyone else, it appears) when he says that the level of BA movies is becoming lower and lower. Au contraire, imho!
 
Bel Ami to me is great, but i have a few complaints. The good part is that the guys are almost always gorgeous without that plastic or drugged out look that many American pornstars have. The quality of the photography & locations are top notch. The feature on the dvd's where you can skip to foreplay, oral, anal or orgasms is brilliant. Pornos are not exactly cheap to buy, so it's good that a company gives you a quality product. Okay, i rent my porn so i can't bitch!
What i don't like is the way they kiss. Who the fuck opens their mouths wide and bats their tongues together? Is this their idea of French kissing? Is this Czech kissing? And bottoms who stay soft? I know most of these guys are gay for pay (porn is just fantasy anyway, so who cares?) butt they should at least TRY to make it look real. I saw Matt Phillippe gets jackhammer fucked by Sebastian Bonnet and stay VERY hard, and Sebastian jerked him off while he fucked him. Todd Rossett also stayed hard and beat off while Sebastian fucked him. And who would'nt? Althought i want to see Sebastian get fucked and stay hard. One thing that blew my mind was seeing Tim Hamilton get a facial and take it in his mouth! I've watched that scene at least a dozen times, and it always makes me shoot like an M-16. Now if only Tim could stay hard and beat out a major load while getting plowed (preferably by me) it would be a huge improvement.
 
Bel Ami doesn't do it for me. Sure, the cinematography is great, the guys are perfect but that's just it: the guys are too perfect for me. IMHO they're too smooth and too perfect. Give me a nice stubble, or goatee anytime over these smooth babyfaces. But that's just my taste ;)

Agreed. The twinks are always very cute, but the sex is boring.
 
Bel Ami has always been such an infuriating studio ](*,) - they've got the hottest boys on the planet, great production values, superb photography and what's the usual result?- predictable, repetitive and over staged sex, wasted cum shots and always those damn limp bottoms!!! yes, Bel Ami though way better than most american productions, is continiously doing the same thing. repetitive and based on a money-getting formula of hot boys but (most of the time!) bland sex. eurocreme and raw are better!
