I never said there's no such thing as straights in gay porn. I think they are often a little less straight on the kinsey scale to the point they can get over any repulsion, but this is not to say they have any preference for men or are disproportionately "less straight."

Hello I’ve been in the industry now for 4 or 5 years on the gay side and yes there are many Gay studios / Sites owned and primarily operated by gay folks. Maleflixxx is (where I worked for several years) is gay controlled and much of the staff is gay. However not all the staff are. You can’t expect everyone to be gay! You need open minded people that do your accounting or our programming or our IT work. I’s say on the content / marketing side there is more emphasis on having gay staff since they can tell what is hot what isn’t, but there are many exceptions there too.

Right now I work for company called Vquest inc in Toronto and we have some gay staff and some straight. But our products are 100% gay – Malepornpass, Juliensboys, Jetwang etc. Frankly we could not succeed with our straight staff too. In management what you look for in staffing is the “right fit” and competence / ability. In fact we could in lots of trouble by only hiring gay staff and making that a requirement.
