They have. Fouad Belkacem is now in jail for eight convictions of threats and the like, and after that he'll be sent straight to Morocco where he is wanted for violent crimes and drug trafficking.

But I admit Brussels is a horrible place where intolerant muslim thugs rule. It's even much worse than Amsterdam, in fact! I can't believe those two cities were once considered liberal havens. Nowadays, most gays and lesbians don't flock to those towns but flee from them, to real open-minded places like Antwerp, the gay capital of Belgium and southern Holland.

Antwerp has lots of muslims too, but they are moderates who won't wink at gays walking hand in hand. And moderate muslims consider Belkacem a pathetic attention whore at best. I'm pretty shocked this clip dared to mention Antwerp and Brussels in one single breath. These two cities are Jekyll and Hyde to eachother.

Watched a bit of the video but couldn't stand it. The more I hear time and time again about cases like these, the more angered and annoyed I get.

I've used this analogy before and I'll use it again - imagine if a crowd of European gays descended on Saudi Arabia or Iran and paraded around Riyadh or Tehran in shorts and T-shirts preaching secularism or atheism. Now imagine the Saudis and Iranians falling over themselves to accommodate us, changing their laws so as not to offend us, and doing everything they can to indulge us. Would be great wouldn't it?

Instead, we would find ourselves either stoned to death or swinging from ropes. BUT NEVER MIND, we in Europe will STILL indulge Islamic extremists and allow any and all of their disgusting backward prehistoric behaviour and turn a blind eye to it.

The result is that the entire continent is being completely overwhelmed and NO-ONE barring possibly the Swiss and Austrians and properly standing up for STOPPING immigration into their countries.

I'm finding myself more and more agreeing that their IS a co-ordinated Islamification of Europe going on, which is unstoppable because of our constant pandering to these people. I'm truly fed up with it.

And in case anyone misunderstands me, I'm NOT talking about 'white' vs. 'non-white' or 'pure race' or anything ridiculous like that - I've no time for xenophobia or the extreme far-right.

What I AM talking about it is the systematic and continuous erosion of modern Western European social and secular values and mindsets, under CONSTANT attack by in particular Muslims who feel they have some sort of right to walk into our countries and dictate to us how we should behave. How DARE they. If they so annoyed and disgusted with us then go back to your own fucking country, and stop trying to turn ours back to the dark ages.

Really get sick to death about this.

If anyone is interested, Bruce Bawer wrote a book about this topic. While Europe Slept. It's a few years old now, but I found it interesting. Obviously, it's a pretty controversial subject.

I don't live in Europe, and haven't been there for a long time, but I have my doubts. I find it more likely that there is a disorganized movement going on, but a master plan coordinated by shady figures doesn't get past Occam's Razor to me.

I have no doubt there's a movement going on, but coordinated? No, there are just a bunch of boneheaded primitive-minded demagogue clerics acting on their own to urge their followers to "take Islam with you where you go".

Calling it a "group" is too much of a compliment. Sharia4UK was a group, now outlawed, and its founder has inspired (and encouraged) copycats ranging from Sharia4Belgium and Sharia4Holland to Sharia4India and Sharia4Australia. Most of these groups are just a handfull of bored teens with a webcam and a youtube account trying to be tough. None of Belkacem's actions ever involved more than a dozen members (the shouting incident at the political debate was their high mark) who weasel out after their first arrest or leave the group when they get a girlfriend. His last grand press conference was in the kitchen of a mom-and-pop pizza delivery thingy with two young aides-de-camp. As one journalist said, "this is not Al Qaida. This is Spinal Tap!"

Don't worry, there's no such co-ordinated effort. For a long time, the left in Europe was pandering to islam and closing its eyes to the anti-feminism and homophobia just to distance itself from the far right. Especially in Holland and Belgium. Today, moderate parties are increasingly standing up against "tolerance for intolerance", especially in Holland and Belgium.

But Brussels is a small city (ten by six miles) which is 25% muslim, so the powers that be on the municipal level will keep pandering to islam, and since it's an autonomous state, independent of the surrounding state of Flanders, also on a state level. In the rest of Belgium, however, especially in Flanders, you'll find none of that. Go into the inner suburbs just four miles east or west of Brussels city hall and you can be arrested for wearing a burka or niqab. In fact, this happened to Belkacem's wife, who is a muslim convert whose mother works as a prostitute. Again, Spinal Tap.

I am a little more optimistic. This kind of "takeover" from reaching a boiling point will take decades to come. By then, hopefully the Belgian people will have come to a solution to protect their nation and rule of law from Sharia law. The Europeans have done a terrible job integrating their immigrant populations much like what the U.S. has done with Latinos. They need to incorporate their cultures, otherwise, they're going to have maniacs like this guy preaching an Islamic takeover of an entire nation.
