Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon and possible 2016 Republican presidential candidate, says he believes homosexuality is a choice. His proof? Prison.

"A lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight," Carson said in an interview with CNN Wednesday. "And when they come out, they're gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question."

Studying science and biology doesn't make you too smart on anything but science and biology---a lot of these guys are clueless on real life smarts. They live in their bubble. But his apology seemed heart felt and real---admitting he has lot's to learn, which is a start.

If being gay is a choice, somebody should ask one of these clowns (like, yes, Ben Carson) how much money he would like to have, to feel entirely satisfied and no further need ever to chase after more money. Enough money to quit his job as neurosurgeon. Would it be $20 million, perhaps?

Somebody with deep pockets should challenge him by saying, Ben, that you will get that $20 million if only you choose to become gay, and to the extent that you will prefer to REMAIN gay. I bet that he couldn't do it, could he? Maybe he'd realize it's NOT a choice.

I would almost gladly lay a serious bet that he goes to a church every Sunday, at a congregation where the minister spends most of his sermons every week preaching extreme anti-gay screeds, as something being by far the most horrific problem in all of human history.

Consider that people's FREEDOM OF RELIGION is protected in the United States, and some of the red states are trying to pass laws to enshrine those protections even all the more so that - you know - they won't need to provide any public services to those "fucking f####ts" and can use any religious convictions, however weak, as an excuse. THEY WANT THAT PROTECTION.
