So each of them get 7 delegates in the Wyoming caucus.

The needle didn't move.

Hillary 1305

Bernie 1086

with superdelegates:

Hillary 1774

Bernie 1117

If Hillary wins NY, April 26, and NJ by an average of 55%, then Bernie's progress in the last eight victories will be erased. Erased, undone, as if they never happened.

At that point, the required margin to match Hillary's pledged delegate count would shoot up to 66% in the other races. After the aforementioned contests, only 92 of the 890 pledged delegates in the remaining contests will be in caucuses, meaning Bernie activists will not have the opportunity to dominate by that margin.

Seeing his lower than expected performance in Wyoming, a largely white caucus state, it doesn't look like he would pull it off anyway, given that 55% is less than the required margin from today (56.7%) to match Hillary's pledged delegates.

Of course, those following the math and trends have known this since March 15. We knew the string of victories would happen, but create a false sense of hope for Bernie, heat the rhetoric of the race, and deepen the ill feelings towards the candidates. It wasn't a crystal ball. It's science.

Great, I can't wait to vote for someone whose best position is that she isn't Cruz or Trump.

By the way, at this point in the contest, if it was 'winner take all' for all states....the results for pledged delegates would be:

Hillary 1578
Bernie 813

That's how all democracies work.

The head of government is usually the #1 choice only of a minority of voters, but always the #2 choice of a majority.

Thanks but you missed the point.

That's exactly the point.

In two party systems, the factions that make up each party always begrudgingly get behind the leader of the most common values. Hillary voters did for Obama, and Bernie voters will have to for Hillary.

Enough Bernie voters may either sit home and decide not to vote or will vote for the Green Party's Jill Stein ... write in Bernie's name, or may even vote for Trump.

There are a large percentage of Sanders's supporters who do not like or trust Hillary and given how outrageous Trump is, he would govern as more of a Moderate ... which is exactly what Hillary is.

There are those of us not caught up in the "vote who we identify with" feminism that many Gay Men and of course Feminist Women are caught up in. The government is going to run the same way whether it is a White Man, Black Man, White Woman, or Black Woman as President so symbolism really doesn't matter to us.

So you are using your vote to express your hatred of women...is that it?

You keep running the notion up the flagpole (or should I say fagpole) that the only reason that homos are voting for Hillary is some sort of shallow vulva worship that you alone are immune to.

In this assumption, you are as ridiculous as Evanrick....who thinks that she is being supported by cynical, weak minded corporatist sell-outs who are committing treason.

I think that Hillary's supporters may have slightly more depth and nuanced reasons than either of you are giving them credit for.

Oh...and if you think that a classifiable sociopathic narcissist like Trump will be reigned in....you don't know much about how megalomaniacs think or operate when they acquire political power.

Frankly, considering most of the Bern-outs have never before voted or have voted for whatever candidates like Jill Stein (oh, and did you get to CHOOSE her as the Green Party's nominee? How undemocratic...), I am not worried about them writing shit in. If the idiots can't see past their dumb notions of high moral stances, they can go fuck themselves. We've won without them before, we will win without them again. And the ones that actually can see past their nose will vote for Hillary.

Vote Blue No Matter Who

In other news

Bernie got 56% of the votes
Hillary 44%

the Hillary fans should STFU about Wyoming IMHO

You lost

I think that's 8 of the last 9 states

Next stop NY - gonna go see Bernie in the Village on Wed at a rally

Does Hillary have rallies ?

I guess if no one were to show it wouldn't be a rally now would it ?

If it mattered I'd be impressed but Bernies in no better position than he was a month ago, and Wyoming with its 14 delegates doesn't even register.

really ? then why is Hillary so alarmed ?

why is Bill making remarks to the BLM group that are so clearly at odds with Hillary's intended approach ?

why ?

she has all the NYS politicians in her large pockets ...... Cuomo, deBlasio plus

let's see what happens

and it does "matter" in more ways than YOU know

See BenDan we should just give up on our preferred candidate like they probably did in 08' when Hillary was losing.

Obama never had this kind of lead. He finished with a lead of 62 delegates, never having more than 100. The race was neck and neck straight to the end.

HRC is relying on immigrants waiting for their papers, welfare queens and old black people for her support. Might not be a good strategy seeing how HRC lost the latino vote in Nevada, then her supporters couldnt be bothered to show up for the county caucuses.
