That's almost my favorite albums except I haven't heard Maxwell's album and I'm not really a fan of Jay-Z.

that's a lot... i'm re-listening to everything and trying to narrow down my top 10. i'm pretty positive that Phoenix will be my #1 though, i love that album. i'm obsessed with Mean Everything To Nothing right now. there were a lot of albums that i really liked this year.

1 (by a huge margin): Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
2: Muse - The Resistance (very underwhelming, barely makes the list)

I was quite disappointed by Mika - The Boy Who Knew Too Much and just about everything else I listened to this year. I only now discovered Oracular Spectacular by MGMT and loved it, but since it came out last year it doesn't count.

Kings of Convenience - declaration of dependece (a friend just showed me them. Seems to be a really good album)
Portugal, the Man - the majestic majesty (have only listened to once, but probably great)
Rammstein - Liebe ist für alle da (have only listened to it once, but probably alright. I'm hooked to a few songs)
John Frusciante - The Empyrean (Have listened to it several times, but it's greatness still hasn't revealed itself to me yet. But I'm sure it's there. It Frusciante damnit )

So that's 11. But at the end of the year I'll know whom to strike off of the list. Probably Björk or Rammstein. Or in deed Frusciante..
