Best Dried Fruit

...Most of them like mango I have not even tried in their normal form....
Dried fruit will be more intense, so I'd start with ones you think you'll like.
Apples, peaches, apricots taste pretty much the same. They can be softer if treated (I don't remember with what), or a bit more leathery if natural.
Tropical fruits tend to have sugar added -- pineapple, banana, mango, papaya, etc., taste similar but sweeter.
Cranberries are almost always sweetened. I've seen them in the regular grocery store with artificial sweeteners!
Dehydrated fruit, like berries, are crunchy and delicious, but expensive.
Dates and figs tend to be in natural form and remain sort of soft, not leathery. Figs are especially nutritious and a favorite of mine because I can find reasonably priced organic ones at Costco (and I like the flavor). I'd also buy fresh figs if they were more readily available. Dates are very sweet and often used to sweeten natural snack bars.

I like them all, but try to get unsweetened and organic.

Thanks.

I think I need to talk to my doctor about all this. Dried fruit may be too much sugar for me, but they have to be better than what I eat now.

Dried watermelon is really good. It taste like cotton candy

^Interesting! This reminds me I remember talking when I was a child about dehydrated watermelon, and my parents laughed the idea off. They said if you dehydrated watermelon then there would be just about nothing left of it.
