American Me - I think that there were a couple rape scenes in that. But I only remember one, where the main character is send to juvie.

There's also a Dutch (?) film called "Spetters" by Paul Verhoeven which is sexually graphic, and contains a very graphic gay rape scene.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies, I've just been told that there is a quite shocking scene in American Me? but I can't find a copy of that, anyone seen it?
"A Serbian Film"...it's supposed to be a very shocking,sickening movie and some scenes are almost unbearable actually...but overall they tried too hard,anyway a lot of rape scenes in this one...("Irreversible" is worse imo,even if it's not a gay rape the most famous or infamous one,there are some moments in the movie that are almost worse then an actual graphic scene.)

One that I found quite shocking was "Descent" with Rosario Dawson (not to be confused with the horror movie from a few years back). She plays a college student who is date raped by a semi-charming sleazeball jock (Chad Faust). She suffers from PTSD afterwards and withdraws in her normal life, but acts out by frequenting an after hours sex club. There she meets a self proclaimed guru who helps her regain her strength and self esteem.
Coincidence reintroduces her to her rapist and she decides that it's time for some payback. She invites him over, seducing him into believing that she forgives him and wants to enter into a new relationship. She convinces him that she's interested in some kink and gets him to strip, be blindfolded and tied to her bed. She proceeds to verbally assault him as he did when he raped her and then moves on to physically assaulting him with a Dildo Finally her friend the guru joins them and proceeds to brutally rape him.
Both rape scenes are quite explicit, but the gay rape scene is much longer and more drawn out. The jock is quite convincing during the rape scene, believably acting out first anger, then shame and finally withdrawing into himself as a survival tactic as he continues to be raped.
Pretty strong stuff if you're into such things...

I guess she really believed in it, since she was one of the producers as well. Her character was pretty complex and ultimately damaged and portraying that range may have appealed to her.

The Australian film "Book of Revelation" concerns a story about a male dancer who is kidnapped and sexually assaulted by three masked women over a period of about two weeks before being thrown back out into society to deal with his assault. Also very graphic.
