Best/Worst Movie Ever!

  • Thread starter Thread starter techboywi
  • Start date Start date
Best: The Hours, Crash, Love Actually

Worst: Oh Jesus, so many...Uhm..You, me and Dupree, Pirates 2--crap for some reason I can only think of recent ones. Probably because it's 4 AM. I'll come back later and add more. OH WAIT, I know. Latter Days.

Best: Fight Club

Worst: Being John Malkovich (although Lost in Translation is a very close second. I'm still not sure why anyone likes movies about boring people who are bored with their boring lives.)

No wait.. Worst movie in history..

Moulin Rouge.

anyone who likes it is wrong and needs to be taken out back and shot.

Jasun has spoken.

Once again Jasun is right. We rented the DVD when it came out and turned it off after the first 5 minutes. I would have to follow Chicago as a close second. I just don't like musicals. Lets throw RENT in for good measure as a bad musical film. I know Jasun will agree with me on that one.

Worst: well aside from Plan 9 from Outer Space

-T.

this must be the best 'worst' film of all time.

B
Worst: Quest for Fire

I actually liked Quest for Fire... I have it on dvd.

worst for me? blair witch project or what ever the dang thing was called.totally stupid

best? difficult... 'my beautiful launderette'?

Oh, that's right.. RENT. I had blocked that out of my memory.

Man, I remember when we rented that, and I made a thread while I was watching it here about how I didn't know it was possible to make a movie THAT bad.

There's not a single thing about RENT that's passable. I began to think 525,600 minutes was the running time of the movie. What a steaming turd THAT thing is.

I still burst out laughing when I think of that annoying latino drag queen swinging from the rafters and rolling around on the floor shaking her legs in the air singing that horrible song about beating a drum until a dog jumped out a window.

that song made ME want to jump out of a window.

Best: Wicker Park (Because of this movie I can say if Love Is A Perfect Crime)
Worst: Seeds of Chucky ()Really DUMB)

worst: The Godfather series and probably "Scarface"
best: too many to mention. "Terms of Endearment" "One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest" and "Big Fat Greek Wedding"
OMG!!!!!! those are like the bestes movies EVER!!!!!

worst-that robin williams movie dealing with green bouncy slim Flubber?

Hmm kinda hard question for me cuz I like a lot of movies. Im sorta easily entertained... Prolly the worse movie I remember seing was that Final Fantasy movie. So boring. And Big Mommas House sucked too, the first one I mean. I didnt even bother with the sequel.

Prolly not the worse movies but also the Lord of the Rings movies bore the heck outta me, as well as Star Wars, the Matrix and all that sorta cult trilogies.

Best: Pulp Fiction

And the Bond franchise.

Worst: The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre / Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. I'm pretty sure that was the one. My friend and I got even made fun of for renting it when it came out by the cashier...

I had to bump this thread because I just spent the worst 102 minutes of my life watching The Wicker Man. OMFG this has to be quite possibly the worst movie I've seen. This movie has to have one of the worst endings of any movie I've ever seen. I've generally stayed away from any movie starring Nicholas Cage. But this was a group decision and I thought I'd give him a second chance. But he has not changed in any of his movie rolls regardless of the script. ](*,)

This rotates every time I answer...

Best: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, then Beautiful Thing, Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow, ace ventura pet detective, and various alfred hitchcock films

Worst: Anything with Ben Stiller or Owen Wilson and pretty much most attempts at comedy films lately.

Best:

Lord of The Rings trilogy
Moulin Rouge
ALIENS
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Vol.1 and Vol.2
Sin City

Worst:

so many BAD forgettable ones but I will just mention the "big" productions I wished I had never seen:

Troy
Pirates of the Carribean 2
Silent Hill
- and anything with Jim Carrey in it.

Best: The Haunting (1963)

Worst: White Noise

I chose White Noise because it looked SO good in the trailers but ended up being NOTHING that it was advertised as.

Well I cant pick just one for either category:

Best: Corrina Corrina, Jurassic Park, Mean Girls, My Girl, Scream Trilogy, Anything Mandy Moore does, Titanic, Edge Of Seventeen, Trick, Twister, The Blair Witch Project, Whats Cooking?, Crash

Worst: High Tension, Suspect Zero, House Of 1000 Corpses, The Dukes Of Hazzard, Darkness Falls, Hostel, Turistas, Freddy Vs. Jason, Alien Vs. Predator, "O", Freaky Friday (new one)

Best - V for Vendetta and Spirited Away

Worst - House of 1000 Corpses, and Underworld
