Today must be leak day because the song Video Phone (Extended Remix) and Lady GaGa's Telephone was leaked. I love Telephone, but I never liked the original videophone but when the video comes out, I might love it.

^ I know. when I heard the remix to Video Phone, I started thinking somebody was lazy as hell when they made this. Telephone is the shit though. Sorry Rihanna but Nov. 23 is all GaGa.

I like Video Phone, but Telephone is amazing. I see why this is the 2nd single. It is infectous as hell. I must say I expected more from the Video Phone remix, but I have a feeling it was made for video. The intro and Gaga's vocal tribute to Beyonce sounds like it could easily intepreted into the music video. Whatever, Telephone is really good.
 
I was never really a fan of video phone (she should have released Radio) and Lady GaGa doesn't bring much to it, I'm still indifferent to it. But I really like Telephone I hope there will be a video for it.
 
This remix screams PERFORMANCE to me. Reminds of a song that cannot be truly apperciated without a visual to accompany it. The beginning intro sounds like a great chance for lots of story, dance, posing, and performance art. That intro gives me ideas of sci-fi meets American western.
The biggest issue with the song, both the original version and the remix, is the sluggish and rather tired beat and vocals. It's just completely dull and lifeless. Beyonce sounds half-dead and even Gaga doesn't have the energy of "Bad Romance". Gaga sounds like she's trying to compete with Beyonce on who can sound more like a zombie. Anyways, let's hope the video makes use of Gaga's creativity and isn't Gaga imitating Beyonce. Her ego is big enough, she doesn't need someone clearly more creative and original than her copying her bland style. Peace.
 
This is the first time hearing the song for me, and I agree with the remarks I'm reading here. It's too slow and there isn't enough Gaga flavor in it. I was expecting something faster, dancier, with a big beat. Something that would blow your hair back and leave you going "wow". Like Moe said, if I heard this on a CD and didn't know what it was, I would skip past it.
 
I like this version better than the original Video Phone..but that isn't saying much.

I do agree that seeing a really awesome video and/or performance of this could make a big difference though.
 
Eh, I did not care for either Telephone or Video Phone (extended). Maybe, they'll grow on me, but that's highly doubtful in Video Phone's case, as I have never liked that song.
 
Lady Gaga & Beyonce - Telephone

This is the first Lady Gaga song that I really, really like. It's called Telephone, and it is pretty awesome. It doesn't sound like Love Game/Pokerface/Just Dance, it actually has a pretty unique sound. I think it's pretty new as I've never heard of it until I happened upon it on YouTube. It's super cool, Lady Gaga and Beyonce complement each other very well. I love the way Beyonce just stomps in with her hard, raw vocals in the middle of Lady Gaga's softer, electronic vocals. Lady Gaga's soft, electronic vocals mixed with Beyonce's hard, raw vocals make a pretty awesome combination. Have a listen.

I like the song too. I never pictured this collabration. I'm kinda disappointed that Gaga worked with Beyonce though....much like I was when Shakira worked with her.

She already had the single cover art made so I'm pretty sure its going to be a single as well. I'm actually looking forward to the video now that its moved up to Nov. 17th and the screenshots look hot. (!)

I must be the only one who breaks it down in the car DAILY to videophone.

That song is so hot, the fact that so many people hate it makes me love it even more.

Telephone is aight. I am a Lady Gaga fiend, dont get me wrong, got her album when it was only released in Australia and Uk and downloaded all the unreleased tracks but if Im not trying to dance there is nothing there for me.

For me her music is emotionally void. Glad she went with Darkchild on this track, she and Redone can take a break for a year.

That green studded dress and Alexander McQueen shoes in Bad Romance, Gaga stole my soul for that entire video.
