Notice how i didn't say "VS". I'm not particularly a fan of either one. Actually I think they're both overrated. They both currently have dance mixes out of their newest singles.

Beyonce's is a more elegant restrained performance and mix while Whitney's vocals are a little bombastic with a dull peak time mix.

I'd like opinions on THESE songs, performances, and mix. You can tear out the others weaves if you like but please keep it to THESE two versions. Please refrain from posting hundred of videos of either just to prove who's better.

BTW, I prefer Beyonce's this time.

Sorry, I didn't want to bring her into this, but after listening to these songs I have to. MC's Obsessed & I Want to Know What Love Is dance remixes are better than these! But between these two, I like Beyonce's better.

Whitney -- overrated? I don't think you'll find anyone with musical talent who would ever claim that Whitney is overrated.

I love Beyonce as well, and she's the hottest singer out right now.
 
Even though these are two artist who's work I don't follow I was intrigued reading that Alan Braxe was mixing Beyonce.

I've enjoyed his remixes of Bjork and Annie amongst others. Also a fan of his work with Fred Falke mixing Goldfrapp, Royksopp, and Justice.

I love the frenzy of wah-wah guitars, Sunshine Band horns, and whip-snap snares.

Beyonce is my choice.

Whitney for sure. Beyonce has reached her expiration date. Lady Gaga will take over for now I'm sure. Music needs something fresh.
 
I would have to say Whitney, B but I can only listen to her for while while cause voice starts to get my nerves, Iwatched that movie cadilac records and why they didnt use Etta James songs instead of B covering all of them I dont know but it was torture,
