no im not yet and i won't know it until 5th of august cause my doctor is on vacation... this is driving me crazy bleh :s...

I am a bit skeptical about a diagnosis of bipolar especially considering you fail to mention which type. Hell I was misdiagnosed as type II bipolar a few years ago when it was actually seasonal affective disorder. So I wouldn't jump to conclusions quite yet.

Bi-Polar should be diagnosed by a qualified psychiatrist. Also, you don't mention how you came to believe you are bi-polar. At its worst, the manic/high behaviors are exhausting and way over the top, and the lows are rock bottom major depression. The disease can be very challenging. There are medications and treatments available. I had a neighbor who was a trust fund baby. When the quarterly HUGE check would come, he would rent jets, put down payments on land, houses, cars and start businesses all in very short time, and within weeks had gone through the money, had everything repossessed and would be a recluse until the next check. In manic phase, his physical appearance and affect would change. Sometimes his family would hospitalize him, and he would be better for awhile. Find a psych that can diagnose and treat you if necessary.

What you just described is an unmedicated or improperly medicated Bipolar person. Being properly diagnosed Bipolar is a life changing event, and only you can turn it into a negative or positive event. Take the time to learn about the disorder, learn how to notice when your swinging up into mania, or falling down into depression, develop an emergency plan for if you get too severe of a mood and may need hospitalization. Learn about the medications, learn about what triggers you, make sure you change to a healthy diet, get plenty of exercise, and above all properly take all of your medication every day. It also helps to have an amazing Psychiatrist. Here is an awesome forum that I belong to, for people with Bipolar http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Bipolar-Disorder/support-group If you are a teen, we have a specific group for you http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Bipolar-Disorder-Teen/support-group
Please let us know how things go on the 5th!
