Does anyone else like bikes?

I was gaga for them around 1980, subscribed to Bike magazine, had two fine bikes and bought all the gadgets.

Lately I find myself in the same place.

I love tooling around town on two wheels, bike to work often, and check out other bikes, their design, components, and accessories.

Sometimes I even check out the other bikers. :D

Anyone else?

i have two, a road and a mountian. Love to go riding after work or on weekends

I LOVE my new bike!!!

Windsors brought me to the bike shop when I was passing through St. Louis last fall...

Granted -- its a fairly INEXPENSIVE bike -- but that way I don't need to worry about it as much...

:):):)

I'm the same way, Nine; I have a road and mountain bike, clothes, gadgets, retardedly powerful lights for night riding, and I got a trainer for Christmas, so I can ride when the weather is too cold or snowing.

And I'm always checking out the new stuff, just can't help it :D

So far, I haven't reached the level a lust after gadgets that I had 30 years ago.

The workout room in my apartment building has two stationary bikes and I like using them to stay in shape for the "real" thing. :-)

I can't say that I love bikes as such, I just love being a cyclist. 340km since Jan 1st! (OK, that's not much, I tend to hibernate as much as possible in winter.)

I have a nice bicycle, lightweight, lots of gears, etc.

But then at work, I have an old single speed cruiser from the 60s. I ride for exercise on my lunch break or run an errand for some fresh air. I dig the fenders and the big seat.

This is similar to my bike, however I have black, 105 brakes, Dura Ace down tube shifters and a different crank.

Yes, I said it, my crank is different. Now if I ever heal I will be able to ride it.

Gave my last one away, it sat in the garage for years, it's risking your life to cycle in London
