Yeah, fuck Ragan. Kevin was a far superior BB US gay houseguest (if not the best one of them all).

Ragan was also massively delusional and self-righteous. He looked down upon Rachel for being a waitress, then cracked jokes about infecting babies with AIDS. He was quite possibly the worst representative of the gay community ever to appear on Big Brother, surpassing the vile likes of Joshuah, Joe, and Marcellas.
I don't even remember who was on the show last season. That tends to be a bad sign. I do feel like normally the leaks have begun by now, not necessarily cast because they're not normally informed until like 2 weeks before move in if I'm correct but normally we at least get some recycled line about how it's going to be the most unpredictable season ever by now. No?
His introduction to the other houseguests involved a story about how he'd contracted sexually transmitted diseases.I did say I mostly didn't get why people don't like him. And what was really that bad about Joe?

People contract STD's. Get over it.
If that's all you have, I'm still not convinced that he was that bad.
Yeah and most don't shout about it to a room full of strangers on national television. That's just one, though probably the best, example of his complete lack of tact.
Last season was sooooo bad save for Rachel and Brittany.. everything else from that season can disappear.
The contestants of this upcoming season should fear for all-male Brigade alliances, so hopefully the paranoia sets in and keeps the guys broken up.. I hate seasons where Bromances make it to the end, they always have the lamest winners.

And Britney was a impotent twat. Her diary room commentary might've been entertaining if she'd possessed the spine to back it up elsewhere in the house. Throw in the fact that her best friend in the house was rapist Lane, and she amounted to a humongous, lazy-eyed pile of lame.
Big Brother's gay male casting in general bugs me because they're all so stereotypical or disgusting in personality. The only true exception to the stereotypical aspect after a dozen seasons has been Steven, but I couldn't really get behind him either, because he was an early boot and used a less than PC term ("colored") for Libra. Josh from BB9 was easily the most vile of them all though, with his bullying of women and comments abouts about Amanda's father.
At least Kevin was reasonably well-adjusted, a good player and entertaining to watch on TV, and Will from BB5 was pretty normal and sweet, but most of the others just irritated me even if I didn't hate them.
I'm glad to hear her say this. The BB12 cast was full of BB fanatics who were too familiar with the game and as a result they played it too well -- under the radar. While blending in with the wallpaper is a great strategy for making it far in the game, it makes for a very boring season when that's how everyone plays it. We need more people in the house who know nothing about the show and aren't afraid to make asses of themselves because they don't now any better."I love casting people who are fans of Big Brother and love the game, but sometimes when you put 13 people in the house who are all mega-fans, you lose some of the specialness. They know every little thing. They know, 'If I do this, this is going to happen,' whereas the people who don't know the game as well sort of play it like it's the first time and sometimes it's a little more interesting and unpredictable."
