Actually Brendon won it but I wish he didn't because now they have an even bigger target on their back when they were already the houses biggest target. Both of them have won so many competitions last year and kept surviving when the entire house was trying to get rid of them. It'll probably happen again.

Yeah I've always seen the Rachel/Janelle comparison. They're both great at competitions, fun and funny to watch, and ditsy. The only reason why a lot of people like Janelle but not Rachel is because of her laugh, her voice, and she's not as pretty as Janelle. They pretty much have the same personality though.

Thing is, Rachel and Brendan winning all these comps is great news for Jeff and Jordan. Next HOH will be 3 veterans against 7 newbies. Odds are a newbie will win and if that happens, they're likely to nominate the challenge monsters rather than Jeff and Jordan.

In fact, Jeff is playing the same game he did in Season 11. He's laying low and not going balls out in comps early on and just watch, at the halfway mark or so, he'll suddenly start winning shit. I can't believe no one is seeing through it.

I personally think it's because BB6 Janelle was edited as a bitchy and irreverent leader against one of the most vile alliances in Big Brother history; Rachel didn't have the same kind of opposition, and thus her edit was pretty much reduced to what she is: hilariously obnoxious and defensive of "her man" to a delusional extent. Janelle, if she were a newcomer in BB12 and the rest of the cast were still as tepid as it was, probably would have gotten the same reception that Rachel did.

Hell, Janelle's stock in BBAS went down to a lot people who aren't casual fans because she wasn't going up against the Nerd Herd and because she was manipulated by Will for nearly the entire season. She was still popular, obviously, but a lot of that was just riding on the wave of her BB6 appearance IMO.

This is exactly how I see it as well. Ironically, the Nerd Herd was the best thing to ever happen to Janelle.

Thing is though, Britney and Ragan weren't part of a dominating alliance. In fact, Britney and Ragan were just as much played by the Brigade as everyone else. The Nerd Herd on the other hand was a dominant alliance of unlikable people who decimated the more likable alliance one by one, and then it came down to the three evil stepsisters vs a comp-winning, ass-kicking Cinderella. That's the stuff reality show legends are made of.

So finally got around to seeing the first show.

I wasn't as upset by the returnees as I thought I would be. Initial impressions I found the most annoying to be Keith and fucking Adam. Adam in particularly REALLY grated on my nerves. Keith looked hot in his comp wear but not hot enough to justify his nonsense confessionals.

I thought Dominic was the funniest, and I think I'm going to like Kalia as well but it's too early to tell.

As far as Dick's early expulsion I don't care why or how or what affect it has on Dani I'm just glad I don't have to deal with him. I think it's really going to wind up endangering Jeff though in the long run. With Dani benched, Rachel benched, and Jordan being more or less useless, it's up to Jeff or Brendon to take home HOH over 6 other people. When they fail, as they probably will (Jeff's decent at comps but he's never been able to really beast them, same really with Brendon). Rachel and Brenden will likely be nominated and I can only imagine that one of them will get veto. Suffice to say Jeff and Jordan on the block will result in Jeff's eviction.

Also of note... I care so little about Porsche and Keith I'm already looking ahead to what next weeks eviction might be.

This is true, unless Brenchel can throw the POV to J&J. The four of them are in a tight alliance and they've talked about doing just that. That way, J&J can take Brenchel off the block and with Dani holding the golden key, voila! The newbies will have to put a pair of newbies up.

Also, I'm predicting right now that Daniele will go far in the game. Not only because she's a good competitor, but because -- just like BB6 -- she lost a partner early and that will put her at the bottom of the target list as the newbies will be more concerned about splitting up the other pairs.

Dick leaving could end up being the best thing for her. Which makes me wonder if they planned it that way LOL.

yes...there will still be an eviction come Thursday.

BB will probably alter things later in the season to adjust for Dick's expulsion...perhaps eliminate a double eviction week or something like that.
