Big Brother 13

Well bostonboy you got your wish, Keith went home last night like the homophobes wanted, you both got what you wanted. Congratulations.

I honestly think you are being caustic for no reason. There are no people on this board that are homophobes. Some are a little more forgiving. I just think we come here to enjoy the discussion. We have all had our say about Jeff and Cassi and others who have used a gay slur, and people here are generally rational and wise enough to form their own opinions.

Could you take it down a notch with the accusations. it would be appreciated. Thank you. :-)

Voting Keith out was not homophobic. Keith was an asshole of great proportions and got on everyone's nerves. He accused everyone in his alliance of backstabbing him when most of them were ready to vote Porsche. He attacked Kalia, Shelley, Dom, Lawon and Adam. It was amazing to me that anyone voted to keep him. That being said I truly hope the newbies get their shit together and play this game and win. I would love to see Dom win, but I am afraid that he may be gone soon if the plan stays as it is.

Keith went home, thank God. C'mon Cassi, U can't leave yet.

I almost completely agree JD...I'll add to it:

Shelly is a good liar

Jeff is an asshole

Jordan is still dumb

Brendon bugs the shit out of me

Rachel isn't as bad as last year...still annoying and insecure.

Adam's only 2 words I've ever heard him utter are 'bacon' and 'metal'...other than that he just makes weird noises.

^^^

What he said. Rachel definitely mellowed out. Not sure if she's on meds or what.

Jordan isn't even a cute dumb anymore. She's starting to annoy me.

For the record, Rachel please dump that whining, controlling piece of dung that you call a fiancee. Damn, how annoying can a man be? Getting on her case because she is having fun, on her case because she called him her pet name for him from across the yard, getting on her case because he doesn't want people down the road in their lives judging her. What are you doing, schmuck? All that is judging and be a hypocritical slug.

When I see Jeff I just want to see his ass slip sliding away.

Please don't let Danielle win this game. That would be the ultimate unfair advantage.

She's actually the only vet I wouldn't mind making it to the finals. I think she'll always have a likability problem though in terms of jury votes.

And I say all this as someone who DESPISED the Donatos on Season 8.

She's actually the only vet I wouldn't mind making it to the finals. .

Honestly...I was just going to post the same thing.

It's so frustrating when someone beats me to it! ;)

I really kind of like the sarcastic banter she has with Dom...but once he's gone next week, she'll probably wind up being her usual bitchy self...

Aside from her, of the vets, Rachel would be my 2nd choice.

Aside from her, of the vets, Rachel would be my 2nd choice.

I can't even name a second choice among the vets. If Danielle doesn't win, I'd rather any of the newbies -- even someone as worthless as ADAM -- win over any of the other vets. I don't like the idea of rewarding Brenchel for their terrible gameplay (even after two seasons to figure it out), I can't in good conscience root for Jeff after such overt and vitriolic homophobia, and I just think it would be atrocious for Jordan to be a double-winner, thereby succeeding where the likes of Dr Will failed.

This is Dani's. I'm so convinced. She's going to pull a Hayden and let the two sides fight it out. And then, what little attention she'll get, she'll whine that she has no partner and that her dad/life are horrible. "No one understands what I'm going through."

It worked on BB9.

I'd prefer if none of the vets made it to the finals...was just speaking hypothetically. I disliked this premiss right from the start.

Jordan winning would be an epic failure for BB altogether...well, perhaps not for the cows that drool over how cute her and Jeff are as a couple...blech.

I wouldn't mind Rachel winning if she dumped Brendan who just grates on my last good nerve. Danielle winning would be a Dick win because I still believe that whole exit was a strategy for her to get a golden key. I just think there is more that happens in DR than we will ever know, but we do know that DR tries to influence the game and the vote, how else would Jordan even get an HoH and E D win when he was doomed before devine intervention. I think E D knew that a golden key would land in her hands and I think his whole entrance and exit was a setup.

That being said I do hope Kalia goes far and I hope Dom survives any attempt to get him out. I think he is an extremely engaging guy and lots of fun to watch, though I think his game play sucks. I love Kalia because she is vocal. Cassi I just don't like right now. Perhaps I will forgive her but I won't forget - I don't care if she is from Texas, the state with an enormously high rate of ignorant people.

I'll be curious if Dani tries to rally support for Dom to stay. She may be thinking she needs a strong partner and a few of the newbies on her side, once the Vets start duking it out. She spends a lot of time with the noobs...and it ain't to feed info back to the Vets. She's too savvy for that.

It feels inevitable that a Vet or 2 are going to make it to the end. I hope my instincts are wrong...

For the record, I don't want any vets to win either.

I would have put one or two vets in in addition to the 14 houseguests and would have voted off two the first week to build up interest in the show. Having it almost 50/50 split between old and new is desperate IMO.

DOMINIC & ADAM ARE NOMINATED!!!

This season is really gerrymandered in favor of the vets. Not only do they get the benefit of pairs that are actually connected in real life, but the Paired Up POV means at least one newbie can always throw it (if they think they'll be safe and get the Golden Key) whereas the Vets would never throw it because they actually care about their partner. This sucks. Adam is likely to throw the POV, thereby screwing Dom. I really don't see why they made the POV a paired competition other than to favor the vets. And notice the HOH isn't paired thereby giving the vets more chances to win. Argh!!!

Why didn't they just do an All Stars 2 instead of having newbies and then tying their hands behind their backs so they can't possibly beat the vets?

After watching the end of BB AD when Danielle is talking to Dom in the hammock, I think Dom is running on empty. She asks him " If I can pull strings what would you want me to do for you." He returns with "I'm doomed. What could you do for me?" He doesn't realize she has influence with the vets? Then we go to HoH room and they are talking about Danielle being able to influence Dom so obviously she is on a mission for them. So in his best interest it would be best to play however benefits him. He says he doesn't trust any of his group and of course the ones he distrusts the most are the loyal ones. I also think he has such a hard on for Cassi that he keeps throwing her into the mix to be saved and Cassi has told Shel that Dom is not her type and would not date him outside the house. She likes a bigger more masculine man. I am wondering if any of these people have any idea how to play the game. I think they saw J & J's season and last season with Hayden and think the best thing is to hang back and let everything happen. They are idiots because they are playing with hardcore players in the vets, and Danielle is not the least among those vipers.

Wow. Watching Danielle talk to Brendan and Rachel alone and then Jordan alone...she's really playing everyone well. Danielle reminds me this time around of Parvati from Survivor. In her first season (Cook Islands) Parvati seemed to have some good instincts but she was part of an unlikable alliance -- just like Danielle with Dick -- but while the Donatos benefited from production tampering, Parvati's alliance was destroyed by Yul and the Pips. Then she came back like gangbusters on Micronesia, taking all the instincts she had before, but also learning from her past mistakes, and playing the hell out of the game and (rightfully) winning.

I think Danielle could prove to be the same this year. She may even be able to get past the likability factor because she's doing really well winning over Brenchel and some of the newbies. We'll see. For now, I do find her subtle gameplay fascinating. Thank GOD Dick left early or we may never have gotten a chance to see this.

Good girl Daniele. She's planting the seeds right now with Brendan (who clearly has a thing for her) that voting out Dom and keeping Adam is only good for Jeff and Jordan down the road. The thing she's doing well is the Dr Will approach: to tell lies with just enough truth in them that they past muster. It's entirely true that Adam is more enamored with Jeff and Jordan than Brenchel and therefore more likely to work with them down the road. What Danielle isn't saying that Dom is more likely to go after Brenchel rather than J&J also.

Danielle has formed a side alliance with Brenchel by telling them early on that it's the three of them when the vets get down to five. Which is smart because Brenchel are more susceptible to that kind of argument, but obviously Danielle plans to split them up before they get to five. Rachel also clearly cares about her, as she told Brendan she felt bad for Danielle and asked him to go over and comfort her. LMAO! Danielle probably knows this is Rachel's MO. Rachel bonds with a Mean Girl who pretends to be her friend probably because of her own manifest insecurities. It happened last season when Rachel wanted so badly for Britney to be her friend, and now she's doing it with Danielle.

She's basically setting up Brenchel now to be open to the possibility of voting out Adam over Dom if the nominations stay the same. Oh and look at that, as I'm typing this she's also tossing in some stuff about Cassi in there for good measure, so if Brenchel get POV they might be amenable to using it and backdooring Cassi.

I just think it would be atrocious for Jordan to be a double-winner, thereby succeeding where the likes of Dr Will failed.

We'll always have Sandra, dear. ;)

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Jordan won twice for some of the same reasons Sandra did. Namely: being legitimately non-threatening and endearing (after Jeff gets evicted anyway), although Sandra actually had skills other than those. Right now she's a good spot to go far because even if the newbies pull a coup, Jeff and Brenchel will be targets before her for being bigger challenge threats, just like Jeff and Michele were targeted before her in BB11. And the sad/funny thing is she likely isn't even aware of any of this.

We'll always have Sandra, dear. ;)

Yes and I don't want dummy Jordan to match awesome Sandra's achievements either! :D

Hee! And now here's Kalia telling Dom that she'd like to play singles with him and Danielle, and how she was just talking to Danielle about it etc. Basically Danielle has already planted the idea in Kalia's head to vote for Dom to stay over Adam. She's a machine, you guys.

Oh believe me it's not easy. I DETESTED her on Big Brother 8 and I still maintain both Donatos wouldn't have made it to the end without production interference (though I think after Dick's eviction, Daniele could have made it to the end and promptly lost to whomever she was in the finals with). But see, even back then I always thought she had game that her dad didn't. And I still think she's a stuck up brat who I wouldn't want to be friends with. But I felt the same way about Parvati and she at least won me over as a gamer on Micronesia (and Heroes vs Villains). Daniele is doing the same right now on Big Brother 13. I mean I can't deny she's playing well. Even if it doesn't work, she's doing precisely what she should be doing.

BTW Kalia just outright told Lowan that they have to keep Dom and when she left, Lowan whispered to himself, "Get your head in the game Dom. We need to keep you." Daniele's seeds are sprouting.
