Big Brother 13

After reading here about the underwear prank, I went to the CBS site and was greeted with an invitation to "make your mark" on Big Brother. :rotflmao:

I don't see any reason to bring Cassi back after she is evicted. She is not at all interesting to me. Her only interesting thing is her rivalry with Rachel. What else has she done or said that is interesting other than calling Dom a faggot?

Rachel is ultra sensitive, and she does say the wrong thing at the wrong time, and Brenda is the devil incarnate. I despise that man as much as I loathe Jeff.

That they spent the whole of AD talking the argument was ridiculous. Cassi is as guilty as Rachel. Remember how she went into the kitchen a week or so ago and just sat there and stared at Rachel. That was confrontational and unnecessary. Cassi doesn't realize that it is not just Rachel who wants her out. Dani does too. Jeff would probably like for Cassi to stay so he can oogle her. Hope Jordan catches him looking sometime.

In this maze of almost totally unlikeable people I like Dom and Kalia and the rest could sink into the mire and I wouldn't miss them.

I don't like that she used the '"faggot" comment...unfortunately it is all too common of an expression/insult, along with "that's gay," that people use...and most time not thinking of what it really means and how it offends us. I've even had to correct family and friends on occasion when they've used it. I don't think she, nor they, meant to offend us...but it is still an ignorant comment to make. If I heard her use it repeatedly or make other homophobic comments, I'd be all up in her shit. I'm not a one strike and your out kind of person...I go more by actions than words.

As for her game play, or lack thereof, I've mixed feelings. I like her and like her calm persona. I think she does have a subtle and calculating way about her too...especially evident in the way she manages to rile Rachel while making herself seem like the calm, rational person that just wants to talk...then "playing" (and getting away with it) the victim role. She almost had Jordan and Jeff consider getting rid of Rachel; they did discuss it. If it weren't for the safety of their alliance with Rachel and the way the partners and golden key twists are effecting the season early on, they probably would have. If she were able to come back in the house, she'd most likely be a vote to get rid of the couples, and I'm all for that...that is if she didn't just get sent back out the door. ;) Since it'll come down to America's vote, if it were to happen, she wouldn't get it, nor would Keith. Still 2 more people after her to get evicted...likely one of the couples will be one and that person would get the popular vote.

Back to Cassi, it seems she's mostly well liked in the house, even Jeff and Jordan like her, and if they could find a way to keep her, they would....that's everyone aside from Rachel and Porsche (I think Brendon likes her but can't because Rachel doesn't, so being the lap dog that he is, he takes her side.) Dani is ok with her personally but doesn't want her around because she wants Dom for herself, and Cassi would interfere with that.

Cassi is just not savvy in the way this game works...how people lie, back stab, etc. She also doesn't have the ability to charm the people she doesn't like. If she'd seen past episodes, I think she'd have been a better player and been able to bullshit. Also, biggest downfall is not even considering that her partner, whom she trusts implicitly, would throw her under the bus for the golden key.

I like Dom because of his personality, but he's also not too savvy in the ways of the game. Lucky that Dani has taken him under her wing. I'll be curious to see if he starts to catch on to the subtleties of the game, or if he'll just be Dani's toy. Kalia..I like her well enough, but I don't think she's a contender. She's the type to be there just for the experience. I'm trying to fight this feeling but I'm kind of liking Dani this season...mostly because I think she's got a good game underway. I hate so much about the Donato's though, and all the mystery and conspiracies about ED leaving etc...

geesh this got long winded...sorry. ;)

I have gotten to the point where I cannot watch Brenda at all. On AD I fast forward everytime I see his face or hear his voice. I can take Rachel fine but Brenda is just such an asshole of mega proportions.

I also have a great deal of difficulty listening to raspy Adam or even looking at his super sloppy self.

Dom is adorable and I love his personality but he is a dum-dum player. He and Dani seem to be conspiring some what but I always doubt her and her aims and truthfulness. She seems to have her father's under handed manner.

I would love for Lawon to break out and just let it fly. I bet he is a trip when he is not trying to control himself.

Poor Shellman.

Porsche is like that layer of scum that gathers on top of stagnant ponds.

Even Hamsterwatch is impressed with the new Danielle. I agree with everything they say about her:

This new Daniele really takes some getting used to for feedsters who watched BB8, and it's not just the dark hair.. four years ago she was usually laying around with Nick and/or whining, but Daniele 2.0 is the life of the party: she's the busiest get-around girl of all of them, she's often the loudest (yes, including Rachel), and she's definitely the one most likely to be caught goofing or laughing.. it's quite a change, and a refreshing one

Granted, she doesn't have handicap of personal family stuff getting in her way, and she's noticeably matured (as most people do between 20 and 24).. I'd still rather have all fresh faces, but she almost qualifies as one.. she also seems to be making the best progress infiltrating both the veterans and the newbies sides, and that's something in itself

I do the same thing on ad when brendon starts blathering. I did like his Mario voice the first couple times he did it.
Rachel I can't stand. She's a whiny narcissistic bitch.
Can we please evict these two morons.

Yes, Adam is nasty.

Lawon told Oprah (Kalia) that when they get to 10 ppl and start playing individually, he's gonna let if fly. I can't wait. :D

I was just watching a little of AD on my dvr and Cassi and Kalia are whispering and Cassi says every time she goes to the dr they are always encouraging her. She said they said remember season 10. What happened in season 10 that might relate to her?

I think this is another season where I don't have a particular favorite. If I had to choose one person, it would Dominic. He seems the most level headed of them all, besides maybe Oprah.

I'm only watching to see Rachael and Jeff go home.

I have no clue. There wasn't any HGs returning in boxes or voted back in that I recall or see. No Coup d'etat either (but if there were, they'd be saving it for Jeff ;))

Well...I've officially changed my opinion of Cassi. She's been such a sad sack, moping around for the past few days...bitching and bitching and whining and bitching about Rachel. Apparently Cassi's family has some financial problems and her brother is in prison...so that makes her more deserving of being in the house than Rachel because Rachel reason for being there is that she wants a dream wedding and to improve her image...per Cassi version of it anyway. I'm no Rachel fan by any means, but she has just as much right to play/win as Cassi, and Cassi sense of entitlement is a real turn off. I liked her before, but now she's just a poor sport.

I missed their first season. But saw them on The Amazing Race. Where they came across as not very bright.

So, I'm curious to see if they know how to play this game any better.

I agree and while watching Cassi on AD I got ringing in my ears from hearing her 'you know' that 'you know' there is 'you know". She has, you know, some issues, you know, with other girls, you know and that is why, you know, she doesn't make, you know friends with other girls you know. ](*,)

Rachel hasn't learned anything from last year. She's still a petulant, myopic, drama queen moron. And she needs to be medicated. LOVED watching that fight after the POV comp.

Jeff and Lawon's DR sessions were funny. Jeff swiping at his ear and comparing Rachel's voice to a gnat.

I honestly don't recall hearing a more annoying voice in my entire lifetime than that of Rachel's.

Sad to see Cassi on her way out of the house. Of all the Big Brother girls who've claimed to be "models," she's the only one who actually looks like she belongs on a runway.

Also, I'm still unimpressed with Daniele. She's as miserable and anti-social as ever... Just slightly better at hiding it.

Hoping for a second Jordan victory now.

I love when those fights happen right after competitions, because they're a total surprise to us when the episode comes on (other than if the houseguests are talking about it afterwards). I wasn't expecting that at all, and I loved it!

Now we can look forward also to the Cassi/Rachel fight tomorrow night :D

I am not at all sad to see her leave. Just because she is a model and looks like a model does not make her interesting. She is dull as tap water. There is nothing at all special about her and she can't talk for shit.

Jordan found a soul mate in her because they have the same kind of back ground. Cassi says she is playing for her family and yet she has the BB game play of the gnat that buzzes in Jeff's ear.

Rachel may be the same Rachel but she is at least great BB material. I wouldn't come within a mile of her personally but she sure creates the best tv drama for BB.

Jeff is dead to me.

Lawon did come blazing into dr on the show. Hope to see a lot more of that.

^^^Lmao about the model thing. No love lost seeing Cassie gone.

My boyfriend, a psychiatrist, saw thirty seconds of Rachael last year and said she should be one of his patients. What an accurate assessment. Can we all agree that something is loose up in her head? It's more than just low self esteem too.

Jeff had the line of the night when speaking about Rachael: "you lost[last year] because of you. Why are you still the same?"

Jeff's brighter than Jordan but he's still a meathead. They were very likeable, I guess like Hayden last year and in some seasons, likability is good enough when you have someone like Rachael on the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff or Jordan won this year. With them, what you see is what you get and they don't go out attacking people - so for the most part they don't have a target on them. It works.
