Big Brother 15

Had to marathon all three of this week's episodes because of the fucking Time Warner Cable/CBS drama. Ugh.

Candice's exit speech was one of best of all-time. <3

Also, Julie had all of the subtlety of a fucking wrecking ball when she was talking to Candice. "Well, Candice, you're on the jury now, but there's a lot of summer left ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)" Chenbot, please.

Even though Helen is running this shit and I like her, it sucked seeing two of the few remaining likable people in the house go home last night. I think Jessie is randomly my favorite right now.

How was Candice's exit speech one of the best of all time, given its context?

The racists that targeted her got her out; the Asian houseguest who was a target of the racists backstabbed her and kissed the racists' asses; the preceding week saw her love interest, a very friendly, nice, good-natured, but black, houseguest was booted despite being a threat to no one.

Not sure how one can enjoy Candice's exit speech: it was given out of pure desperation by a woman who had nothing to lose towards a trashy houseguest who is still playing in the game.

Re: The Men of Big Brother 15

I thought BB1 was the worst?

Last season was better than this one. Slightly.

Andy has nominated Jessie and Spencer. Why Spencer? Andy is in an alliance with Amanda, Aaryn, McCrae called A M 3

sucky season

another boring hoh

jus give the money to amanda or mccrae another big bro canada

Just read at Jokers how shocked Rachel is that people are playing the safe game and voting house instead of making any real moves. She, like myself, can't understand Amanda, Aaryian, GM still standing while they voted out the people they made racist remarks against (Howard and Candy). And if Jessie goes to jury that will be another girl sent out because the three meanies don't like her, and Helen, Andy, Elissa are just sucking ass (me saying this, not Rachel). I just don't have a fav anymore because I despise the lot of them.

Re: The Men of Big Brother 15

The last three guys standing are two ugly red-heads and one skinny twerp with mop bucket hair? WTF.

They voted out Howard and Jeremy so I'm no longer really interested and I'm BB fanatic. Not only that but this season is AWFUL. The racist, ignorants are still in the house (Aaryn, Gina Marie, Amanda) while the bitchy alpha females (Amanda, Helen) still run the house. What a mess.

Rachel needs to STFU. Her sister is one of the biggest floaters who votes with the house and never makes a move on her own. It's the same hypocritical bullshit Rachel complained about on her two seasons. Just...go stick your head in a vice, you awful awful woman.

Not hypocritical at all. She calls out her sister many times as being a floater in her interview with Jeff. You won't watch it though because it's 30 minutes of Rachel awesomeness and you prefer more vile contestants like Britney & Amanda.

In reality though, the floater game is the best game for Elissa because they already know her as Rachel's sister. She's pretty much reduced the target off her back from everyone, even her biggest enemies. If she won a lot of competitions this early, she probably would've made it as far as Rachel on her first season, coming in 9th place.

You can blame Helen for a big part of that bullshit. She kissed the racists' asses instead of confronting them. "You're the new Janelle" Really? I don't remember Janelle saying anything bigoted like Aaryn.

I have no person in this place that I like or respect. I wish I had a reset button because I want a new season.

No one else mentioned it so...

ANDY WON POV

The plan is to keep the nominations the same and evict Jessie, but Andy has been subtly pushing for evicting Spencer instead (which I'm all for).

Re: The Men of Big Brother 15

It does seem like a triumph of racism over hot guys, doesn't it? :(

Actually, I think Andy is very cute. I'd think the same about Spencer if he didn't seem to be a completely repugnant human being.

I'm intrigued that Helen actually tried to make the big move and get Andy to put up Amanda and McCrae this week. It didn't work, but the fact that she knew what she had to do for her game and tried to make it happen is interesting. Amanda and Helen are playing the best games BY FAR and it would be great to see them work together but of course, as good players, they'd rather NOT go to the end with each other. That means each one is going to want to strike first and Andy's reluctance to split up McCrae/Amanda should tip Helen off that he's not totally on her side.

If Helen wins the next HOH, she could (and would) get the job done herself but of course that makes her a huge target the following week. Her best bet in that scenario would be to push for McCrae's eviction since he is far more likely to win HOH than Amanda and amazingly, Amanda would STILL be a huge target without McCrae whereas the reverse may not be true.

Also notable is the fact that Jessie (who isn't a complete moron) approached Arryn about getting all the "outliers" to work together (Jessie/Spencer/Arryn/GM). This actually totally makes sense for them but the problem is, none of them won HOH this week which means one of them (most likely Jessie) will be evicted next thereby reducing their numbers to three. Had one of them won HOH and gotten out one of Amanda/McCrae/Helen/Elissa/Andy, that would've split the house into two alliances of four.

Complicating all of this though is...Arryn. Her being a comp beast makes her critical to the outliers (especially since the other outliers are weaker in comps) yet she has shown a surprising preference to be used by Amanda and Helen. I posited in an earlier post that Arryn was a loaded gun and both Amanda and Helen need to grab the gun and shoot the other down first, but tonight Arryn confirmed that she trusts Helen more. If that holds and Arryn wins the next HOH, Helen may be able to get Arryn to do the dirty work and split up Amanda/McCrae, which would be great for Helen's game while keeping the blood off her hands. Arryn winning the next HOH then may be the best scenario for Helen. And it's not like 1) Arryn isn't easily disposable the moment she loses HOH and POV cuz she's a huge target with all those comp wins and she has no real allies to avenge her and 2) Arryn has any chance of beating Helen in a jury vote should she make it to the end anyway.

As a strategy geek, the game has suddenly become VERY interesting for me.

Andy had mentioned in a dr session or somewhere that if someone won the pov and used it he would make a surprise move. Now he has pov and since he is closer to McManda (a fucking whiney anaconda) he will, if he does anything at all, probably put up GM or Helen. If he put up Helen against whoever is on the block with her the vipers would strike and Helen would be next on the jury house line. It would be too good of a chance for them not to benefit from.

I probably hate Amanda as much as I have ever hated anyone in this game. It would make me sick and suspicious if she makes final 2. In that line falls Helen, too. I loved her at first and now I hate her for being such a ass wipe and ass kiss. To fawn all over those horrible women like she does may be good game play but it just makes her look awful to me.

And an admission I hate to make but I actually felt bad for Aaryian in the quickie JudoubleD nomination and eviction. Underneath that racist, ignorant heart does lie a little warm blood.

Agree with what you said above, but...

I think I dislike Helen more than Amanda. Did you see that little pep talk she gave Amanda? She seemed pretty damn sincere too.

I'd be ecstatic if Spencer went this week instead of Jessie. Not only because there's way more potential for drama with Jessie, but also because she fits in nicely with Helen's plans to take out Amanda/McCrae whereas Spencer doesn't really fit anywhere and is just...blah.

My DVR cut off the last 8 mins of last night...who did Andy put up? CBS doesn't have it listed and I didn't see it mentioned on here
