Big Brother 15

I'm sorry for sounding like such a broken record but I just don't like these twists, especially this late in the game. Say Judd comes back for example and gets to the end, he's so likable he'd probably win. And then he'd be yet another BB winner with an asterisk by his name. Like Dick winning because of America's Player, or Rachel winning because of the pairs twist. I'm less annoyed by twists earlier in the game because whoever benefits from them still has a long stretch to go (like Jeff's coup power or the twins twist on BB5) but bringing someone back when multiple jury slots have already been filled just seems like cheating. Like all they'd have to do now is win a few comps and they're in the finals. Ugh.

I think whoever comes back in will leave almost as fast. Everytime someone has come back in to play they don't seem to get very far.

Joesman that is true for the most part. Kaysar and Brendan went right back out after re-entering the house and Crazy James was evicted again as soon as his POV-winning streak came to an end. The furthest a returning player ever got was the very first one -- BB3's Amy who made it all the way to F4. I think if Candice or Jessie come back, they probably wouldn't last long, but Judd has the potential to fit into the new house dynamics AND win the requisite comps to get far.

Either way, we've never had a returning player this deep into the game before, and allowing someone to restart the race so close to the finish line seems deeply unfair. It's just like the stupid Redemption Island twist on Survivor.

BEST RETURNING PLAYER IN ANY REALITY SHOW, EVER.

That is all. I have nothing to contribute anymore because I can't even watch the fucking show thanks to the CBS vs. Time Warner Cable drama. :/

You're not missing much...trust me. We have the resident fan boy here who sees no manipulation and finds joy in an exit speech of an outgoing houseguest who called out racists for calling her racist names and taunted her because she was black.

Now how could someone like that or this season? I'm not sure. Probably a CBS employee.

Got caught up with the episodes and normally I'd agree with you, but I think it's a combination of two things that isn't making me mind as much this year. First is that any of Candice, Judd or Jessie is way more likable than most of the people left in the house. Second is that... once this person returns to the game, there will still be eight people active. Amy came back in at that point, and I think Crazy James and Brendan came back with only one additional player still in the game. So it'd be really hard to have an Ozzy situation where this dumps somebody back so that they can win two or three challenges and the game.

That's true slip. Good points. I keep forgetting there were more people this season so with 8 people left in the game, that's not a whole lot different from the 9/10 people who were left when Amy/Kaysar/Brendan returned. It's like how with 16 players to start with, Aaryn had more opportunities to win HOH than anyone else in any previous season, so if she wins one more and breaks Janelle's record (cringe), there will still be an asterisk next to her name in the nonexistent BB history books.

Also, you can watch the episodes here. They're up usually only an hour or so after they air.

Thinking about Janelle's record, it wasn't as great as it seemed. Will & Mike pretty much threw every competition that season and they both made it to the final 4. The other people she was competing with up to the end were Erika & Chicken George. Also one of her HOH's wasn't hers, Erika won that HOH and they rigged it and had a redo because they didn't want Erika/Danielle to evict Janelle that week and then Janelle won the redo HOH.

I completely agree with you pineapple. Love Janelle but ultimately she was only good at comps involving trivia (she never won an endurance for example), she could never beast the endgame comps when she needed to get to the finals, and a lot of her wins have asterisks next to them because (as you correctly pointed out) they were thrown to her.

Slipintothefog is gonna love this but just keeping it real? RACHEL may be the best female competitor this show has ever had. Not only did she actually win many of them, but she also showed skill in a variety from trivia to endurance to physical. Even Daniele Donato had more range of skill-sets than Janelle.

Using that criteria, I think the best overall BB competitors were season 12 alums Hayden and Rachel.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that idiot Marceles throwing the HOH to Janelle too.

As for Male competitors, Hayden only won 5 in a single season. Ian, Frank, & Shane all won 6 competitions last season. Although you could say Frank was evicted week 3 but they canceled his eviction for no reason and all of Ian's wins were in the last few weeks of the game when there were few people left. Shane won 7 if you count the first HOH which was a team one but given to Willie. Brendon also won a huge amount despite not getting too far in the game.

I would say Rachel & Daniele for the girls and Brendon & Shane for the guys.

Apparently Elissa won POV and everyone else is pissed off at her for plowing through them during the competition.

Elissa is slowly becoming my entertainment factor on the feeds. She's loopy and just doesn't give a FUCK.

Wow. BB producers couldn't wait to try to rehab Aryan into someone likable.

That didn't take long.

LOL at Amanda crying behind the garbage can. Totally this year's Rachel running into a bush and crying.

Amanda's fate might just have been sealed. Andy was talking to Aaryn, who was under the impression that the final five would be her, Gina, Andy, Amanda and McCrae. Andy admitted that McManda want to get rid of Gina earlier to split her and Aaryn up. Aaryn actually played it really well not letting on how pissed she was and now that Andy left she's powwowing with Gina about possibly putting Amanda up as teh replacement nominee. I know that a lot of these ideas are floated before hand and go nowhere but this feels like one that has legs to me.

Helen and Aaryn were powwowing about possibly backdooring Amanda. Amanda interrupted them and asked for 1 on 1 time with Aaryn. They openly discussed about Amanda possibly being backdoored and the Gina Marie issue. Amanda claims that she doesn't care about getting Gina Marie out and that McCrae/Andy are close to Spencer so they'd rather keep him around longer. All and all it seems like she probably talked Aaryn out of BDing her. Though I won't know for sure until Aaryn and Gina Marie conference.

Meanwhile outside Spencer told McCrae/Andy that if Amanda goes up on the block he'd still vote to evict Helen.

And let's not forget Elissa's plea to Aaryn before nominations: "And I don't have my yoga mat." LMAO! Aaryn's, "OK I can't relate to that..." was just the cherry on top. At this point, Elissa's loopy not-one-fuck-was-given act and Amanda's crazy self-pity are the best reasons to watch the feeds.

Meanwhile I did get excited about the plan to backdoor Amanda but...she seems to have pulled one over on them yet again. When Spencer said he'd rather go up on the block to prevent Helen from being saved/Amanda from being backdoored, I just threw up my hands in resignation.

So it comes to this - the bad people are going to win. Aa already said she would vote for Am if she makes it to f 2. God knows who Mc/Am would vote for. Am would have to be on meds just to put the key in because she would be so pissed that it wasn't her. No one will vote for McC because he has been dead since his HoH. Andy might win if he can get to f2 because the little slithering snake has played everybody. Elissa will not make f2 except for and act of Grod. But I still feel the Grod is pushing buttons for Am. Why else would people over look her all the time when she is blatantly out there and should be on every body's radar. And while she might be on radar no one has the balls to do her in - or little birds are singing Amanda in the ears to everyone. It is just so odd to me. Evem helen never had the gonads to do her in when she had two chances. Too bad Elissa never won HoH because she does have the gonads, I believe but her game thus far has been non existent. So we may be sitting and watching Am do her "who me? i won? how did I ever do that? Oh, I know. because I pulled all the strings and McC's dick."

Spencer was asking Aaryn and McRanda, Andy if they noticed that Elissa didn't have much water flowing over her pieces in the PoV comp.

It was something to do with looking in the water and identifying the items, I think.

Be watching the comp Wed night to see if production was throwing a bone to Elissa.

I mean, not that it really matters. I know this show is at least partly rigged but I watch it anyway. Who knows how much rigging is done on Survivor. Probably a whole lot more since the entire season is recorded in advance of being aired.

The racism/anti gay remarks, total zombie cast and the fact that the guy candy was eliminated immediately have made this a so-so season for me. It's not a total loss, yet, but it doesn't look very promising for the rest of it.
