Big Brother 15

I'm with slip. The online fan-hate for Helen was something I never understood. She was a nice, well-adjusted, smart woman who DID talk too much (in an LOL way) and whose only sins were blindspots in her gameplay. If that's enough to warrant the kind of vitriol she got, then lots of flawed players deserve the same, including fan favorites like Jeff and Janelle.

Well guys, yet another BB season comes to a close, this one full of more controversy than others. But each season of BB is only as good as the community you get to watch it with, and this community has been a blast (yes, even including the lunatic fringe cuz every village needs its town loon). Happy finale night. Here's to hoping Andy's rat face collapses when Elissa wins America's Favorite, and Candice gets to smirk in satisfaction when Race-gate is aired.

I must have missed her coming to Candice's aid
It was when Candice was alone crying because of what Aaryn and GM did her. Helen came to her all "You are the underdog now! You're super strong and America is cheering for you!" And I was like, *swoon*.

Helen, Mccrae, and Andy called racist sympathizer.
I wouldn't call Helen a racist sympathizer just because she was aligned with Aaryn. She was able to totally manipulate and control Aaryn up to and including Judd's original eviction but then Amanda got her to flip and won the war against Helen in the end. If Helen ending up getting Amanda out and gotten to the end with Aaryn, she would have basically used Aaryn like Jun used Allison to win. But of course Helen tanked her own game as we've outlined and like Pepper said, bad gameplay was her biggest sin in the middle of a cast that did much worse.

I feel like ranking this cast but it seems only suitable to split the racists and the non-racists:

1. Candice boo -- OMG such a shining star in the dim light of hatred that was BB15. I only WISH she were popular enough to get the $25,000 she deserves from the fans.
2. Elissa -- everyone's favorite, hilarious space cadet who does not give a fuck about any of this shit. Not as entertaining as OMG Rachel OBVI though~!
3. Jessie -- she always seemed destined to be the UTR nobody but she managed to be hilarious by the end of her time in the game. Everyone hating her irrationally and making her melt down <3 Her ditching Aaryn's coven <3 Her telling Amanda to fuck off <3
4. Helen -- I never really watch the feeds so I'm kind of immune to the effects that lit up Twitter with #STFUHelen. Her gameplay was frustrating at times but I loved her enthusiasm and how she came to Candice's side after Mattressgate.
5. Nick -- for not overstaying his welcome as a faux-mastermind and providing so many laffoz GM moments. Also for being hot.
6. Howard -- needs to get inside me and is cool and classy, but was not an entertainment gold mine.
7. Judd -- I was done with him by the end. He was obviously one of the more likable people in the house overall but there were some days in the middle there that he was just as cunty as anybody regarding Jessie and Elissa.
8. McCrae -- existed.
9. Kaitlin -- is probably the most irrelevant person in this season but OMG at her trying to sell us a moral dilemma over whether she should use the POV to save herself or her disgusting showmance who called her a meat wallet.:roll::roll:
10. Andy - UGH this troll.

And now for the wall of shame:
1. Gina Marie -- the epitome of mixed feelings. If she weren't such a racist trash bag I'd love her for being hilarious, fiery, loud and actually kind of cute and endearing. But unfortunately she's said what she said and now we have to see if the venom spewed upon her once she's back in the real world will spark a change in her.
2. Amanda -- also the epitome of mixed feelings. Unlike with Gina Marie I think a lot of the terrible things that Amanda said were on purpose and, also unlike Gina Marie, that she's otherwise is smart enough to know exactly how horrible some of her comments were. But I can't deny that she ran the game like a boss and provided SO much entertainment value because all of the other batshit insane women hated her too.
3. David - lol.
4. Spencer -- do I really even need to justify it? A lot of the horrible things he said were clearly jokes but his entire presence was just uncomfortable.
5. Jeremy -- this season would have been even more insufferable if the girls didn't get him the fuck out when he did. Just seeing him again in the recap show running his mouth about how he's a Cherokee meathead with no class on Sunday frustrated me.
6. Aaryn -- again, obvious. She wasn't even that epic of a villain because the fights that she caused were few in quantity and uncomfortable in quality, and rather than being some epic villainess, she ended up being Amanda's puppet and then swiftly discarded.

I literally have nothing to add to this because it's so fucking perfect. I cosign all of it.

I don't think Helen's a sympathizer. I just couldn't think of another name for a category.

My main gripe with her is when she was in power she threw her group to the wolves and didn't try to protect them.

I think Helen threw her alliance away and chose to believe others rather than the alliance. When she sided with Aaryian (deliberate mispelling) and defended her as being a sincere and sweet girl even after she knew what she had done to Candy that was a big suck for Helen and I think she lost most support from out here by doing that .

Then there was the bottle of wine that I will never forget because not only was it the shadiest shit ever for Jeremy, but Aaryian was right by his side as he went to bully the house. For Jeremy it was I deserve what I take and fuck you everyone else. When Kaitlin and Aaryian were crying high school they had no idea they were the eighth graders who thought they were IT!

There were a lot of moments that America will never see that would take down a president if he acted/said what some of them said and did. Youtube managed to catch a lot and since the world is an open book now, the reality check these dumbbos will have to face will be major, and might put some of them in an institution.

Thank all of you for the conversations, for the spoilers, for the updates and for the companionship. As a whole we managed not to slit throats or call names so we were better house guests than the bunch this season. May be gather again for some Survivor and then a summer of BB16. They are already recruiting.

Good fortune to all.

I probably would have posted a lot more here but when using FireFox I got rejected and lost posts so I had to start using I E to say anything, even though I signed in on FireFox my posts wouldn't stick but they seem to with I E.

OOPs even I E now asks if I want to leave the page when I try to post a quick reply. Strange. Used Chrome.

Cheers, joesman and everyone  enjoyed your company and thoughts

* that "leave the page" thing is coming up for me occasionally, I don't know why... I use Chrome and sometimes Firefox

OMFG, Andy REALLY just evicted SPENCER?

Oh dear god, GM is tanking this jury questioning SO hard.

True. I forgot all about him. But he wasn't out on the show, so I guess Andy can have this one.

Also, LOL, HOWARD was in the top three. America really fucking hated this cast for a pre-juror to get that high.

ELISSA won America's Choice!!!! I know that wasn't surprising but still TAKE THAT all you cockroaches in the house who hated on her. It's the first time I feel like celebrating with this crazy bitch.

Well yeah they weren't bitter but also I think we have to concede that Andy played a far better game than a lot of us saw. I mean even when I was giving him credit -- and only in the endgame phases mind you -- I still thought he could lose a jury vote which would mean he wasn't ultimately a good player. But the fact that he got these people to like him (they were laughing along with him during the Q&A, and you could sense the palpable affection) while stabbing them in the back is just...really good play.

I wish he was more likable/entertaining but ultimately a gay person who wasn't offensive (like Ivette or Steven) or completely annoying (like Marcellas or Ragan) managed to win by playing a phenomenal floater game. Good for him.

I was surprised though when he won and took GM, convinced he had made a mistake until the jury Q&A where all GM's answers were "Nick Nick Nick Nick Nick."

Oh! We also forgot Boogie and his Craigslist daddy/uncle issues for the list of gay winners. Barf.

So let's see... going back to our lists of ranking the winners by gameplay and personality, I'd probably put Andy ahead of Boogie, Maggie and Dick on the personality list (such a ringing endorsement there) and for gameplay he'd probably be below only Will/Dan and Jun maybe. The only question for me would have been Andy vs. Maggie; I think he had a harder path to the end than Maggie did but he got there and fed the jury the bullshit they wanted to hear while GM collapsed in a puddle of Nick fantasies, so bravo. And he beat GM by a way bigger margin than Maggie beat fucking Ivette of all goats.

And he won comps when he needed to, which Maggie sucked donkey balls at.

I believe the conspiracy that something was fishy behind Maggie winning BB6 that Danielle Reyes hinted at, too. She wasn't the first person I've heard that from. I've seen the rumor over and over again that the show played Ivette's goodbye message to Howie when Rachel was evicted. And also that Rachel swore never to talk to Howie again if he voted for Ivette (LOL).

You and your conspiracy theories slip. Next you'll be telling me this season was rigged for Amanda to win.
