Our favorite part of the summer is quickly approaching! Big Brother 16 premiers in just 3 short weeks (June 25) and the rumors are already swirling!

Apparently (and nothing is confirmed so take this with a grain of salt) Big Brother is going to be taking a leaf out of Survivor's book and doing a blood vs. water type theme where each houseguest will have a family member inside the house with them. There will be past houseguests and new houseguests both competing for the $500,000 prize. Daniele Donato (BB 8 and BB 13) and Dominic (BB 13), Rachel (BB 12 and BB 13) and Elissa (BB 15), and Frank (BB 15) and his dad are all rumored to be on board.

So what does everyone think? I'm thrilled hearing Dani and Dominc could potentially be back! I was so sad when they were both cut early from BB 13, plus Dominic is some niiiiiice eye candy. I'm also glad to hear that queen Elissa might be back, though I am starting to grow tired of seeing Rachel all the time...

Its bad enough I had to see Rachel on The Amazing Race. I am so sick of seeing her on these shows constantly. Time for her to get a real job. There are so many people who deserve a shot on these shows instead of reusing the same people. Although, I am excited to see Dominic again :-)

Even though I despise Rachel and would prefer never to see her on this show again, this could be her best appearance for me because:

1) No Brendan

2) Elissa is awesome

3) Rachel v. Daniele is even more awesome

And not having Brendan there to defend Rachel would be incredible.

More than anything I'm excited because this season will FINALLY upgrade the show to HD. OMG. Welcome to the 2010's!!!

Also if it's really Rachel vs Daniele then:

1) slipintothefog will get to relive Summer 2011 without me disappearing this time and

2) it will be the first time slip and I are rooting for different teams.

(In all seriousness I love Rachel and Daniele. I would love to see them fighting for three months. Although I think Rachel went to her wedding so they might be friends now. Maybe they'll be on the same side and we can co-exist, gurl.)

I feel like if it is Rachel/Dani then one of them will be out VERY early (hopefully not Dani).

I also heard rumors that Dan and his wife will be in the house. As much as I love Dan I hope that's not true cuz I can't handle another summer of Dan screaming in the DR.

As much as I love Dan, I hope he doesn't do it again so soon. I'd like his track record of always making it to the end to stay intact. Rachel and Daniele working together may not be as much fun as them fighting, but if it somehow ends up in Rachel/Dominic getting eliminated first out of that alliance and Elissa/Daniele going to the finals together, I'm good with that.

Yeah seriously. I heard similar rumors that Rachel was supposed to be the next season of Survivor so we probably won't know until the cast is revealed.

I'm not sure but I also did see on Twitter that Dan took a flight to LA yesterday. I don't know if that's any indicator.
