You may find the beaches of Cape Cod a bit chilly in April. Average high 52F, average low 37F.

But the ones in N. Carolina should be quite nice...

Innit - I've been told it can be up to 70F (30C) which is more than fine by me! Anything is better than an English "Summer" #-o!!!
