Big Trip To Canada & USA :: April 2009!

The gayborhood has sprung a leak...the gays are now all over the city! lol!
It used to be most of the gay clubs and restaurants were concentrated along 17th Street -- "Dupont Circle" area. Now they've bred and have taken up residence on U Street near 9th and in Southwest by the new sports stadium! Egads!
And then there's the Eagle that has been joined by "Mixed Tape" once a month on 7th near New York along with Be Bar. And where I live, Busboys and Poets is pretty gay a lot of the time! lol!
(Shakespeare Theater is also in my part of the city and they have some great shows as well!)

If you wanna be a bit mischievous along the way, drive just a tiny bit faster and break the sound barrier, and the sonic boom will follow you all the way from Toronto to Atlanta. Isn't the speed of sound 740 or 760 MPH?

Hey Mills, I live on Cape Cod and was joking. It is pretty nice, just not in the winter. Most things are closed and most folks left for points warmer.
Late April and May are very nice on the Cape, places are opening for the season and the locals are happy to see tourists, unlike in August when we are usually fed up with them.
If you want some pointers let me know. Personally I think the Cape is best past Hyannis. From, say Chatham to Provincetown. The water is coldest on the Atlantic side, but have nice beaches (and good surf). As with everywhere, dont drink and drive. Being on holiday most people drink more and leave their brain at home. Beware: the police are out in force.
