So true dude. As a Titans fan, I am so excited and can't wait for the next game each week. We are all so excited here.

You have to give Jeff Fisher the credit for their start. 7-0 with Kerry Collins at QB? I get a weird sense that this team just might go to the Super Bowl, not only because they're undefeated, but because they do all the little things right and don't make so many mistakes. With Manning ailing, Brady out, the Jets w/o any defense, it appears it could be down to the Titans & Steelers fighting for the AFC title.

There's no reason to compare the 7-0 start by the Titans to the 7-0 Patriots. The Pats came out of the gate strong and were anilating teams. They would run up the score with no remorse.

The Titans have been far less dominating and still don't have a signature win to tell me they are legitimate super bowl contenders yet. They are defintely winning the AFC South and should get a bye week considering the competition in the other divisions, but I don't see them above the Steelers, Bills, or hell even San Diego yet. Just be happy that they are winning the games they are suppost too. A few slip ups will happen eventually...but I have a feeling if a #1 seed is on the line Tennessee gets handled by Pittsburgh week 16.

Actually, I'll predict that now. Tennessee will lose to Pitt that week 16 game, still end up with the #1 seed, gets a bye and then lose to the #4 seed Chargers in the divisional round of the playoffs.

So the Titans, at 7-0, are the only undefeated team in the NFL this year. Why is it such a big yawn to everyone? The media doesn't care and seems no one else does either. Would the media ignore the Patriots or the Giants or the Cowboys if they were 7-0? Doubt it somehow.

I agree if it was the Cowboys or Patriots it would be major news blasted all over ESPN FOXSPORTS . I The Titans are not my team ( The Chargers are ) But I am glad they are 8-0. I have some sort of connection to the Titans. My friends boyfriend is a first cousin to Cortland Finnegan.

some pretty easy games. bengals, browns. no stand out players other than a rookie and not widely known cortland finnegan.
and bigger things like the fall of the cowboys, broncos, and chargers
and the insecurity of the colts and patriots take away all of the glory of the titans

The 2007 Patriots through 9 games last season were averaging 39.4 points per game on offense, allowing only 16.3 per. That's over 23 points per game. They were absolutely destroying teams while flaunting a high powered passing attack to do it.

The 2008 Titans are only averaging 24.4 points per game through 9 games, allowing only 13 points per game. While they are statistically better on defense, they are only beating there opponents by slightly more than 11 points per game.

This isin't even mentioning the record setting performances by Brady and Moss.

It has nothing to do with the Titans being a small market team. It has to do with the performance of the team. The Titans are good, no one is denying that. But there is no media bias. If the Titans were putting up those kind of numbers shown by the 2007 Patriots they would be getting more coverage.

So please stop mentioning it :D

im not arguing their record or success on the field. there 10-0, that shows how good they are.

we are debating if they deserve more coverage in the national media. you think they do, i respectually disagree and have given you my reasons for my opinion.

now, do you have any reason or counter-argument as to why the national media should highlight the Titans 10-0 record more?

Actually, I'll predict that now. Tennessee will lose to Pitt that week 16 game, still end up with the #1 seed, gets a bye and then lose to the #4 seed Chargers in the divisional round of the playoffs.

bump

said they would lose to pitt/san diego but whatever they lost in the divisional round.

Well, you were correct that the Titans would lose in the divisional round, but it was against the Ravens.
