I had briefly heard it a few months ago, but I'm quite surprised not more was said by the mainstream media about this. Erik Prince, the owner of Blackwater (Bloodwater?), has been implicated by in court for rewarding destruction of Iraqi lives, because he "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe."

There are cases still pending of massacres committed by Bloodwater in Iraq, and for that reason, their contract wasn't renewed to protect diplomats there, but surprisingly, Obama's administration renewed a $20 million contract for Bloodwater in Afghanistan long after everything became public.

Considering that a large percent of our soldiers do come from areas that are heavily fundamentalist and religious with a recent history of extreme racism, I think media pundits need to start talking more about the body count in America's wars. We often hear the liberals talk about how many soldiers are dying, but we hardly hardly hear anyone mention the innocent civilians killed there. Is it because there is so much hatred for Islam that people no longer view their lives as as worthy?

These are very disturbing allegations. Has there been confirmation in more mainstream press? I haven't been able to find much.

It came out during the a pre-trial motion of a federal lawsuit by the Center for Constitutional Rights. The allegations are by an ex-Marine and former exployee and another former employee. I'm absolutely not surprised, his father was the founder of "Family Research Council", they donate heavily to Focus on the Family, Alliance Defense Fund (Christian Crusading), and is a board member of Christian Freedom International that distribute bibles around the world. And I can very well remember when all the major evangelists were asking soldiers to use the opportunity of the war to spreading Christianity (Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham and Marvin Olasky come to mind).

Oh, and not only massacres, they are also under investigation for supplying weapons illegally in Iraq, to be sold in the black market, and some ended up with the PKK, a terrorist group that terrorises Turkey.

Why am I not surprised...

From what I understood there was a bounty on each Non Christian killed.

The bounties from the highest to the lowest:

Rastafarians (hard to kill in Iraq but the bounty was extremely high)
Muslims
Scientologists
Sikhs
Jews
Hindus

I heard this directly from Charlie Sheen.

Their priorities are all wrong. Scientologists should be ahead of Rastafarians.

Don't forget child prostitution.

Jesus warned us about all the freaks like this when He said that many would come in His name....

Mercenaries aren't necessarily a bad thing. A good test is this: do they mix business with ideology? If so -- thumbs down.
