Bill is singing the praises of one Newt Gingrich - go figure - says stuff like:

“He’s articulate and he tries to think of a conservative version of an idea that will solve a legitimate problem”

He likes his position on immigration - called it "humane"

However, Clinton said the rule shouldn’t include him or anyone else who has been in the White House before.
He said: 'I think that as a practical matter, you couldn’t apply it to anyone who's already served.'

That puts his remarks in perspective.

And I think that it would do the US a lot of good to have the option of a third term for prez.

In 2000 I was tired of Clinton.

However, looking back, he probably would have been very similar to George Bush in what he would have done as President. The exception would have been the approval of most of the left.

Bush squandered everything Clinton handed to him. Clinton fixed Reagan and Daddy Bush's mess.
