Billionaires Funding Romney Campaign

I didn't figure that Romney was likely having to throw bakesales to fund his run for the oval office.

And do you think Obama doesnt have billionaires and millionaires funding his compaign? Seriously.

I read the article and yes i understand what they are saying BUT I also know there will be just as many billionaires and millionaires helping President Obama as are helping any Republican. That is all I am saying. =)

Yeah it has been reported repeatedly about how Obama was a small donor grass roots kinda campaign last time around and now it is primarily maxed out large donors and corporate masters paying his bills. As if he was ever really different from the start. lol Republicans have dominated the large donor market for the last 30 years what is surprising about this article? That you all didnt know the players before the article?

did you even read the article? the vast majority of them are giving to romneys campaign.

Actually I think I saw more to Perry than Romney, but who do you think is attending Obama's $35,000 a plate dinners? How do you think he is going to raise a billion dollars for his re-election campaign.... not PAC's, but his actually campaign.

All the donations are going to PAC's NOT the Romney campaign. There is a difference.

Good. ..| I hope Obama gets a thousand billionaires donating to his campaign and superpac. Anything to keep the republicans from doing away with America like they tried to do when Bush and then-heartless Cheney were wrecking the economy in 2001-2008.

Fine, just don't pretend that there aren't millionaires and billionaires forking over big bucks for Obama.

Oh and the economy was doing fine and the deficit was down to $160b the years San Fran Nan took control of the House in 2007 and her first budget pushed that deficit to $458b and her second budget was $1,412b. The $458b deficit was bigger than any single Bush deficit with the Republican House and the $1,412b deficit was bigger than all six Bush - Republican House deficits combined.

Who around here is pretending Obama's PAC isn't taking money from wealthy donors?

So the economic collapse is Nancy Pelosi's fault? Okay, sure..... ;)

We all know W didn't have anything to do with it at all. Please tell me what the deficit was when Reagan entered the Presidency and what it was when he left. And do the same for Dubya too.

I think there are wealthy donors that do have their hearts in the right place, though. Maybe not many, but they are out there.

Warren Buffett, anyone?
