bionic woman

But a pilot especially should get and keep my interest at some point in the hour. Or why do I care about what happens next week or bother to tune in again?

the pilot was far from perfect...

but i liked it enough that i am curious to see what they do next.

well...i found the pilot a little boring. it was ok. i'll watch it again, i rarely give a thumbs down to a new scifi after just seeing it once. i'll definately check it out again.

OMG!! What do you people expect!!! It's a origin episode!! I liked it. I thought the pace was nice and fast. They needed to rush through the origin so they can now focus on the story. I was a big fan in the 70's. I even have some original episodes I bought on ebay. My hope is this show will push out the actual seasons on the Bionic woman and man. I would love to own them. I'm waiting for them to play an updated version of the Jamie song that Lee Majors sang lol. Anyone remember that?

oh! bionic man?

since they've been using BSG regulars in this pilot i nominate tahmoh penikett (helo) to be major steve austin!

hubba hubba. ;)

I can care less I. Washington being on the show I'm not that narrow minded , the show was just kind of show the last fight scene was pretty good I belive I will watch a few more times to see if the show progresses. I use to love Linsey Wagner on the orginal show.

I agree that the pilot was quite rushed and hokey, but, really, it's to be expected with a show like this. They had to get all of the explanation and backstory out of the way. It interested me enough to keep me watching, at least for a while. I think it can improve.

I liked the fighting. They've set up a cool rivalry between the two bionic women.

The show did very well in the ratings, so hopefully enough people will keep watching so NBC keeps the show on for a while. It has a lot of potential and it would be a real shame if NBC canceled it before it has a chance to get into a groove. I foresee some schedule changes in the future, though. First of all, Wednesday at 9 is a death time slot once American Idol comes back. No show can survive that. But, chances are, both Journey Man and Life will be canceled before November sweeps. I don't think NBC would move BW to the 10 slot on Wednesday because Medium did quite well there and once that show comes back, they'll probably keep it where it is. But, I think Mondays at 10 would be a great time slot for the show if Journey Man is canceled. It would have a big lead-in from Heroes and the two shows have similar themes and, therefore, similar audiences, so I think it could benefit being there.

coming in after heroes would be ideal!

with chuck on at the first of the evening? it would be like a geek friendly night of tv!

;)

They would be wise to cater to the geeks. No demographic is more loyal to their favorite shows.

i can't argue with that!

it's a shame that many of these programmers do not recognize this...

ooh! this episode was much better than the pilot.

and i hate to say it but washington was effective.

dammit. oh well...

yeah, i'm not a great fan of washington either for exactly the same reason.

but an actor is an actor and a gig is a gig.

i'm not going to start a fan club for him but he's alright as member of this ensemble.

but enough of him.

what about shirtless will yun lee? grr! ;)

It was better this week, I could do without Washington in the cast.
My biggest problem is that I don't feel any emotional involvement with Jamie's character.

i'm still gonna watch but like everyone else i can't get down with isaiah. i can see the bratty sister thing being a real pain in the ass. even worse than dawn from buffy, if that is even possible. the main actress lacking in the acting apartment. her emotional responses are so weird. i kinda wish they went a different route lookswise. i like that it is darker and all but i would have liked if they got a girl that was more gorgeous and stunning like lindsay wagner was. she's a cute girl. but you wouldn't really notice her like you would lindsay. that way its more shocking when she's kicking ass and super strong.

Give me the original 70's show anytime over the "new" series. Some things just shouldn't be messed with. It's like asking some other actress to fill Linda Carters role that made her such an icon for Wonder Woman.Get some new ideas hollywood!

There needs to be more action AND more character development.

They need to get some of the writers from Heroes or something because this show could be really good if they just did it right.

At this point the only thing that interests me is the relationship between the lead and Isaiah Washington.

Yeah, the second episode was better. It definitely seems like one of those shows that's kind of blah in the beginning but once they get up and running it gets a lot better.

Kind of the way X-Men 1 was just okay and X2 was the shit.
