Hello,

I'm new and I just joined to ask this because I've been worried about it for a while, so if it's in the wrong forum I'm sorry :(

Ok so I have 3 birthmarks/moles on my penis..One near the pee-hole, a tiny dot, and then one directly on the pee hole, it basically covers the entire hole. (I don't know the anatomical name for the pee-hole, sorry, haha)

Also, I have one slightly raised one on the right side of my penis. It's dark brown and hurts if I pick at it and it chafes if I pick at it as well, so I've stopped. All of my partners have never said anything about them or seemed bothered by them, but I'm worried that one day somebody might laugh at me or something for them. Am I overreacting? What do you guys think?

Here's my basic take on this sort of thing. If he's got you undressed with your dick sticking out, and he's leaning in close enough to see your tiny dots and raised areas on your dick...chances are, he likes you. The seduction is over. Little tiny dots on the dick probably aren't gonna be a deal breaker at that point. :)

thanks lex :) ive never really thought of it that way but you're totally right...looking at it like that, i'm not that concerned about them anymore haha
 
I think the rule with those types of things - is if there is any change in their appearance - enlarging, redness, god forbid- discharge -- anything different from how they usually appear/feel - then get yourself to a competent doc-- otherwise - I'm with lex-- whip it out and gimmie some !!

Haha I have some birthmarks on my penis too. Just a couple lil spots on the head. They've been there all my life.

They're not raised up or anything though. o_O
 
I have a mole on my foreskin and I finally worked up enough courage to ask my doctor about it at my last physical. His basic response was that if it hasn't bothered me after all these years then there is nothing to worry about. But he did confirm that if it changed in size, shape, or color then he could remove it, in my case one option would be to perform a circumcision.

I have a few moles, I guess, on my penis.

And in later years, a sort of blemish developed on the head of my dick.

Would I rather have everything be "perfect"? Yes.

But, what can I do? I'll live with it, since no one has complained, yet.... :D
 
Thanks for the replies, everyone. I don't feel as weird as I used to about my birthmarks now, seeing as more people have them. Usually, I never hear about birthmarks on somebody's penis but it's nice to know I'm not the only one :P

The anatomic term for pee hole is meatus. pronounced mE Atus.

It's not uncommon to find birthmarks and moles on the penis. They usually aren't anything to worry about. The one that is raised and causes you a little trouble is worth having a dr. take a look at it. Next time your in for a physical ask about it. Doesn't hurt to have some peace of mind.

As far as posting pics goes. We've all seen penises before and we don't know who you are. It's your call and I'm not trying to pressure you into posting any. I'm just saying don't be afraid to do it. Most of us don't bite. It's a lot easier to give an honest opinion or advice when we can see what we are talking about.

A picture would really help, but if you're shy about it, then try to find a representative picture on the web that you can link to illustrate what you've got (it doesn't necessarily have to be on a penis).

My concern with any kind of growth is that it can continue to grow and that a lot of the growth can be towards the inside where you may not notice it immediately. At some point, maybe 20 years or more onwards, it could become bothersome, but by then you will have to gauge out a lot more tissue to get rid of it.

My advice then, would be to get rid of it as soon as you can afford it.
 
Mine was mark free for the first 17 years of my life the I developed a mark on my cock just looks like a freckle or birthmark but was a little concerned so wen to the Docs.

It turned out to be a Birthmark that had just take so long to develop and show up :)

Best thing to do is to checked out I always say
